I was getting my first paycheck tonight and also resigning . My voice had gone viral within a few days but , I need to move back to China for work. A word spread around that I was revealing my face tonight, So the club was booked full.
My phone buzzed. It was Zhang Aihan.
"Hey! Are you at the club? I'm outside " She said
"Yeah , Wait a minute, I'll come out! I replied
I stepped outside and found her admiring a cute dog.
"It looks cute right?" She asked
Yeah, but it's a stray ... " I said.
"I don't think so , look, there's a collar around it's neck and it is named Ruby " She said.
"Ruby! Where is your owner?" I rubbed it's forehead and it lied down on my Foot, which made me step back from it.
"I am the owner" A cold voice said . When I turned to look around, I Gasped. It was the same Asian Greek God.
"What a coincidence! We met this morning! " I said excitedly. I was happy to meet him again , though he gave me the "cold shoulder ".
He again ignored me and went inside the club .
"Hey! You're ignoring your dog!" I shouted.
He did not even turn to look. Then A kind stranger patted on my shoulder.
" Please move out of the way , I have to take care of this dog... Or my boss would kill me! " he said.
"Is that your boss? Ask him to smile . He looks too old when he puts up a long face" I said
He nodded and walked away from the club with the dog. I went inside with Zhang Aihan and found the Asian Greek God seated near the stage.
" Aihan, I need to go now" I said
"Why? Do you work here?" She asked
"Yeah " I said
I was excited to reveal my face after days of working in this club. I took the song from my diary that I wrote in my childhood days with Yang Hua. He was my first love, who suddenly disappeared without a note. And tonight I am singing the song that I wrote with him.
