It's the day of the supposed end. Yet Essence is still asleep. His mother wakes him up at 12 pm. He wanted to sleep more but even his mother was angry on him. She Said "It's 12pm! Didn't you tell me to wake you up at 6am!" As soon as Essence heard this, he got up and ran to the shower. He stared complaining "Why didn't you wake me up early!" And Robin responded "She dud try to wake you up. Even I did. But you were sleeping like a princess." Essence got angry "DON'T CALL ME SNOW WHITE!" Robin replied "It was more of a sleeping beauty reference." Essence shouted with a toothbrush in his mouth "IT'S STILL A PRINCESS!" "Don't spit while talking. I supposed every human understood this but it seems you are an exception." Said Robin in disgust. Essence shyly wipes his face and heads out. He puts a jacket on. To that Robin asks " Why do you need a jacket? It's a very thin clothing and will tear off or get removed easily. Not to mention it is not connected so it will come off all the time." To that Essence argues " You won't get it. It looks flashy." Robin questions himself on how he choose such a dumb apostle. Essence gets his shoes and goes to wear them but before that he turns and calls his mom and brother out in the hall. He explains "My friends and I have a big party tonight as it is the new year tomorrow. I told Dad and he will come early. Herb's parents are also coming and Rantaro's family too. So be there at 10 pm." His mother was surprised on how her child grew big enough to hold events. She agreed to be there with tears of joy in her eyes. Essence heads off running to Herb's house. He meets up with him and grabs him then continues to run to reach Rantaro's house. While running he asks "Did you get my stuff ready?" Herb answered "The Party stuff is ready. I don't know why you needed stuff for zombie apocalypse type scenario though. A bat with barb wire and a machete. I told that to my parents and they got concerned thinking I want to kill someone!" Essence looked down in shame "Yea, I don't think that was a good idea. WAIT DID YOU GET NO SHARP WEAPON THEN?" he exclaimed. Herb calmly answered "You think I'm this stupid? I got a kitchen knife." Essence was speechless at the stupidness of Herb. He asked " You want to fight monsters with a kitchen knife?" Herb looked away in a different direction and said "Yea Yea, monsters will pop out of nowhere." Essence stopped running. He looked back at Herb with glory eyes. Robin let put a laugh. Mocking him. Herb opens his mouth "Hey I didn't mean to do that. I was just saying a though. I do believe you." He took Essence's hand and started pulling him to run. Essence ran due to the reluctance of herb. They reached Rantaro's place. Rantaro's Sister opend the door. Herb got flustered. He signaled Essence to say saometime. But Essence was out cold at her beauty. Then Rantaro jumped out of the door and slammed it shut. He looked at both of them. They were blushing redder than rose. Robin shouted to snap Essence out of it. Essence pulled the 2 of them to the party spot. While running he asked Rantaro "Did you get your stuff ready?" Rantaro answered yep the car batteries and bicycles are ready. They are at the party spot." Herb looked at Essence in suspicion. He asked "How did you get this much money? Like the amount you gave me was quite a lot already." Essence again looked down. He answered gloomyly "I miss my card collection." Herb and Rantaro were shocked at this. They both though it would be better to not push this further. They both reached the party place. They inspected the stuff and made sure everything is prepared. Essence was still sad on the words of Herb. He started thinking they don't trust his words for the apocalypse and think he just wants to hold a big party. He couldn't think if he should be sad because Noone trusted him or happy because they listened to him. Now it was time. The parents joined them and helped with the decorations. They played games and sung songs. Essence was enjoying the moment. Then he got a notification on the group chat he created. It was Kai. He wished everyone a happy new year. Essence texted. "U r like an hr and a half early." Kai replied. "I'm in Bangkok you dumb f**k!" Essence replied "How would I know that you bi**h!" Kai was again going to answer angrily. But he Kibo stopped them. They all had a big chat together. They all were having a fun time. Even IRL, Essence was having fun with all of them. He wished this moment to continue forever and never end. Then it was time for 12:00 to hit. Essence before leaving left a big message. "Friends. Thanks for trusting my words and spending you important time with friends miles away. It really makes me feel loved and cared for. I'm sad to say goodbye but I'm still I have something to say. This is not the last time and now our fates are entangled. See you all after sometime. But maybe not on this and not the reactions. Yet let's celebrate the time in happiness. Happy new year. See you soon." Eveyone had mixed feelings for this Messages. Kai even asked is Essence gonna K*ll himself or something. But Kibo knew what Essence meant. Kibo voice called Essence. They chatted for a while. Then Kibo asked "What exactly did you mean by the last part?". Essence said "Too late sorry.
