The man took a step back since he knew he could not fight Jamie. He looked apologetically at Abi before taking a step back and leaving. Abi glared at him. He had crossed the line. for some reason, she didn't feel comfortable around him anymore.Â
"If she is sick, I should be the one taking care of her." Dion held her hand before Jamie could get a hold of her. The smile never leaves his face.
She glared at Dion but he ignored her as he guided her toward the stage.
"I thought you were busy with viscountess Camelia." she spat only to make him chuckle. He raised a brow in amusement when she gritted her teeth.
"Do not tell me Abi that you are running away again and again because you are jealous of those women." she looked away. If only it had been that simple. But if he believed in that lie, she was not going to clear his misunderstanding. At least it would help her in behaving rude without caring about the questions following her.
