"You are not sitting properly." Abi paused, her waist bent and her feet parted, her hands were on the arms of the chair. She paused in that strange posture and stared at the Baroness as if she had spoken a freezing spell. The woman was scowling but this was the face Abi saw all the time, so she did not mind much of it.
She cleared her throat and sat down.
"I have been sitting all my life on different kinds of chairs. No chair had ever complained, my lady." she offered a sweet affectionate smile she was taught by this same tutor.
Sharon scowled and sat beside her, but her chair did not make a noise. Even her dress did not rustle as she sat down.
"You are holding cutlery in the wrong way." Then she picked up the fork and knife to show her. But Abi did not see a difference. They both were holding it in the same hands and in the same manner.
