Abi wished she could discuss it with Nora as she stared at the numbers of strangers surrounding her.
"You were just a child when you were lost. We have missed you a lot. But you have grown up into a fine woman." he complimented her as he smiled at her. She smiled back, a perfect formal smile that never reached ears.
The girls wanted to talk to her privately. When they did not get the chance, this man decided to come. The way he was looking at her as if he was looking at a piece of meat.
"You have no idea how happy we are to find you back. Lord Grimoire must have been too shocked to react like that, I hope you can understand his condition. His niece had returned and he was not the first one to know about it." he fawned at her while looking behind her. She twisted her neck to see the man who had tried to stop her marriage.
He looked brooding and his eyes were red and glaring but when his eyes met Abi, he gave her a smile.
