Unfathomable tech is technology encompassing everything from phones, universe destroying weapons, ftl travel, magic/ cultivation interference, even changing the fate or pulling souls back into a person's body.
This tech is so outlandish that is can touch everything from explained to unexplained.
Can be used under multiple research branches:
biological, genetic engineering/modification, terafoming, cultural, archaeological, FTL, power, weapons, boi-weapons, spaceships, satellites, megastructures.
There are more but it's like trying to think of every scientific research tree that could be has been or is being researched as well as all the sci-fi trees.

Mass Effect, Marvel, DC, Stellaris, Scientific, Magical technology, Cultivation technology,
Terminator, Medieval, Kingdom building, Resident Evil, Star wars.
