-Chapter 64-
-16th day of the 3rd moon of the year 299 AC-
-3rd POV-
-POV Tyrion-
I woke up once again in my father's bed with a huge smile. It had already been more than half a year since I was the Hand of the King, and nothing seemed to change, even though my father had made it clear to me several times that he was ready to take back his duties and his position as Hand of the King at any moment when I would, in his opinion, make an 'unforgivable mistake'.
I heard someone knocking at the door and I said, "Enter."
My personal maid entered with a well-stocked cart, she bowed and said, "Good morning to you, Lord Hand."
I nodded and sat down at the table, rubbing my hands together.
"What do we have on the breakfast menu today?" I said, eager to eat the new food from the royal kitchens.
She smiled and said as she laid everything out on the table, "For breakfast, the kitchens offer you royal fried eggs specially revisited by Chef Rudolph, royal bacon, vanilla pudding, a fruit salad, various fruit juices, and of course, croissants and chocolate breads. If you need anything else, let me know; I will wait at the entrance until your breakfast is finished."
"Thank you, Silvya, you are a darling as always," I said before starting on my dish.
"Has the king sent me a summons?" I asked, accustomed to the king summoning me early at the first light of dawn to prepare all the plans for the future of the kingdom that sprouted incessantly in his head.
"No," she said as she served me some orange juice.
"But the prince wanted to speak to you in person," Silvya said, arranging the rest of my belongings.
'What would Prince Viserys want from me?' I thought, confused.
"The prince Aegon said he would be waiting for you in the royal gardens to have tea with his uncle."
"Wait, you mean Prince Aegon wants to meet me?" I said, stunned by the fact that the most legitimate claimant to the Iron Throne wanted to meet me when we have
"Yes, at least that's what the Dornishman who came to fetch me told you," said Silvya.
-3rd POV-
Knock...Knock...Knock
"Enter," said Prince Aegon.
The door opened only for everyone to see the king's pet entering, not with the proud gait of a lion but with the waddling difficulty of a duck.
"Did you want to talk to me, Prince Aegon?" asked the Hand of the King without sitting at the prince's table, where Jon Connington, Princess Arianne Martell, and her almost inseparable cousin Tyene, and Prince Oberyn Martell, who was more occupied exploring the mouth of his lover than paying attention to the Hand of the King's arrival.
"I need your wise advice, Lord Hand," said Aegon in a soft voice.
He extended his hand to indicate a seat beside him, and once Tyrion Lannister was seated, he said, "I would like to get to know my brother the King better. I think my arrival, or rather the way I arrived, has put a huge wall between us, a wall almost insurmountable."
"You tried to take the Iron Throne from him, which was already his under the pretext that you are his older brother and that you have hidden your whole life. Anyone would have reacted the same way, what were you expecting?" said the dwarf, raising an eyebrow.
"I don't know, a bit of compassion for someone who has lived the same thing," said the young man with silver curls, frowning.
Tyrion smiled slightly and thanked Tyene Sand, who got up to serve him a cup of wine, and said, "He hasn't lived the same thing as you. You were protected, trained, and loved, which is very far from his case, and that's the difference between you."
"Yes, but I am his brother; he could try to understand me, to forgive me. The blood of the Targaryens, of the House of the Dragon, runs in our veins," said Aegon.
Tyrion cut the Prince off and said, "I don't know what you expect from him, but if you really want him to forgive you, be sincere."
"But what should I do?" said Aegon, confused.
Tyene took the opportunity to fill Tyrion's empty cup and her father's as well. Tyrion hesitated a bit before answering, but finally said after downing the wine in his glass, "It's not for me to tell you."
"Lord Tyrion, you could potentially resolve a future fratricidal war with this simple answer," said Aegon in a nearly desperate tone.
"All I can tell you is that the King has been terribly alone since the death of Queen Valeria and that he needs, like everyone else, to feel surrounded to fill the void within him," said Tyrion.
"By a family, you mean?" said Aegon with a calculating glint that escaped Tyrion and which he quickly concealed.
Still somewhat uncomfortable, Tyrion said half-heartedly, "I once lost a woman I loved dearly. For me, what filled my void was drink and whores, but who knows, maybe for the King, it's different, and he would prefer the company of a devoted wife and a brother who will support him throughout his reign."
Tyrion hesitated again before saying, "Personally, I think if such a person existed, he would be ready to offer him a dragon."
The subtext for all those present was clear as crystal:
'You must stop acting as if you were after his throne and simply be his brother.'
Tyrion emptied his cup and then said, "Hmm, this wine is really delicious, but as you might guess, I have many duties awaiting me."
Everyone smiled, and once he left the room, the pure and innocent air of Tyene evaporated, and she let out the laughter she had been holding back, which led to general laughter.

I've taken into account all your opinions and have finally decided to draw inspiration from all your responses to continue the story in a direction that I hope you will like.
I will be creating scenes that are R-17; it's not pornography or anything, but everyone will understand what's happening.
Regarding the marital situation of the MC, given the number of people who wanted the MC to take several wives and others who wanted him to have several mistresses, I've decided to do both, but he will not have more than three or five relationships at the same time.
SPOILER ALERT : he already has one wife for now.
I would like to know who you would want to see as a wife, mistress, or something else, please answer in the comments below :
- WIFE : She will be married and recognized as officially part of the Royal family, and she will also potentially be the mother of the heir.
- MISTRESS : She will not be married but will be able to bear a bastard for the king (the Targaryens are far too few in number).
- CASUAL RELATIONSHIP : She will have a relationship with the king that will not be recognized and will not last; she will not bear a bastard for the king.
