Lucian's mind still wandered off, to what doctor Rodriguez spoke to him about his love life. Truth be told, he sometimes wandered off to what it would feel like in being in love, and having all that he desired in love. The touch, the sensation, the feelings derived in having a lover by one's side. Waking up early every morning beside each other, and muttering sweet nothings to each other, stealing kisses and showering love and care to each other. Plus, having heated arguments sometimes, and being romantic in settling them. Just to find that one person, was extremely difficult for him. Some one that would understand him for whom he is, and what he is, was difficult for him. Where?. He wondered. All the women he encountered, never stirred any thing in him. He needed a woman that would stir up conflicting emotions in him, like a ranging whirlwind, unsure of what to do, at the moment.
Lucian always believed that love was for some category of people. And he had always made himself appear invisible to such. But, after what his doctor told him, he started to have a re- think. But, many ifs. Like, what if that person rejects him, after knowing whom he truly is, and rather wants to have pleasure with him. He had always been skeptical about his purity, and wouldn't allow anyone defile him, like a piece of trash. Or, that person feels his too demanding in the relationship. He wanted to be treated like a queen, adorned by his love, due to his personality. Valued, and always make time for him, in what he had to say, even if it was gibberish. Serve him breakfast in bed, and torture him with pleasure, all the time. But, to open up to any woman was war, who and how?. Lots of women, he had encountered, all wanted him for various reasons. Some told him personally " You will make a great father , and you are the kind of man that I want".
" This thing called love… . Will I one day experience it?- but with whom?. How and when?. Will I still find someone that will make my heart flutter?….".
There was a shot fired across Lucian's office, and he was in his pool of his own blood.
" It's done sir, time for attack''.
A sudden invasion of ex- convicts from hidden spots to Supreme Pacifics, which was followed with gunshots of various kinds, which was a big disaster for everyone. Both employees and members of the board were held in custody. There was huge panic, fear, and shock, experienced by them, as it was a sudden attack.
" If you make a move, I shot get it?….. go get the rest, fish them out, no stone unturned ".
Lisa was filled with fear and shock as she was hiding under her desk, trying and fighting hard not to make a scream, others were kept captive, while a few of them were into hiding, including Derrick and Gabriel. Till a hand tapped her shoulders, she let out a loud scream, but it was Gabriel. She quickly hugged him sobbing uncontrollably.
" Gabriel… oh Gabriel, what now?- tell me… I'm scared Gabriel…".
" There's no need to be…. I'm here for you and with you in this…".
She nodded and kissed his lips in a trembling manner as well as love filled emotions. It came as a shock to Gabriel, but he quickly composed himself realizing that Lisa also felt the same way for him.
" It's gonna be fine, trust me".
" I do, with my life…".
" Tell me who in between you all knows about your latest collection, tell me!".
There was absolute silence as fear overtook them. Each and everyone of them,had their faces placed on the bare floor. It seemed like there was no hope.
