A knock was heard. I wasn't expecting any visitors, so I needed to see whom could be knocking at such an hour. I took Sophie in my arms and headed for the door, as I opened to see whom, it was Jude. He was wearing a light yellow sleeves with stripes, and brown pants. His hair was groomed carefully, the lush, the mother- coral black hair had a rippling quality. He stood there with a smile on his face.
" Good morning, elder brother, and my little snowflakes…". He tried reaching out for Sophie's hand , which he did, and she smiled looking at him. My expressions towards his visit, was filled with mixed expressions. Maybe, because of him not telling me about his sexuality. He noticed the mixed expressions on my face, and felt unhappy about it.
" You are not even excited that I visited you. The look on your face, says it all." He looked away with folded arms, behaving a little childish.
" No… . Am just … . Come inside, Jude, you have been my biggest support in my times of distress ". I said shutting the door as he came in.
" Sorry, I should have written to you earlier, or told you earlier. I was afraid that you … you might not like the outcome, of you knowing my… sexuality."
" Sophie, you go inside and play alright, I will come dress you up for school, but for now, I will talk to your uncle about something important, alright?".

I put her down and she walked towards the room. I heaved a sigh, and turned to face Jude, whose expressions are now as that of a ghost.
