Chapter 24 - Unforgivable (2)

Even with that the king had a big smile on his face, "I am the happiest man in the world!" He exclaimed with bright eyes and gain Esther to glare at his soul. How could he be like this, after all that happened more than a decade ago, all she had to go through and.....and her child had to grow up without a father! She screamed inwardly, speaking hash to the great king could cost ones head so she kept her comments to herself. " Come, come my love, sit with me for breakfast" he said signaling them to the empty seats on his left side and Esther wildly stared at him, " so I get to sit on your left side now, how long has it really been, your majesty?" She asked with anger written all over her face. She was aware that the king would not let them go, even her strong mother could not do anything when he took her in. Queen Helena all the while, stared at them with shock, she was now seeing people who were supposed to be dead, wait! Maybe she was imagining things or actually seeing ghosts at a table. Esther turned to Helena who was already uncomfortable in her seat and her eyes landed on her protruding belly in front of her, " you must be shocked and also tired, queen Helena? It will be best for both of you if you go back inside your room and have breakfast" she said in a trying to keep calm way which did not really go well. Helena stared at Esther with her jaws dropped and the smile on her face faded, Esther was obviously kicking Helena out of her seat on the right hand side of the king. "What! How, what are you doing here?" Helena asked trying to stand on her feet, while Esther looked at her with a smirk on her face. The sound of what dropping on the floor was heard, with Helena still in so much shock to realize her water broke and was staining the carpet floor of the dining hall. The next was the pain she felt that came with the scream and the king was quick to get to her.

"Call the royal maester!!"

Just like that, the newly started day of the mother and son in the palace became full of slaps on the face. All Esther did was to just sit back and watch what her only presence was going to set the huge place on fire without she touching a pin, it took the whole day and even half of the next day before the twins were born, a girl and a boy to the king. Helena laid on the bed with wide eyes due to pain, couldn't even move a bone and she just stared at the ceiling, her lips pale and she flinched every time the antibiotic solution was used to clean her up. Esther entered the room and all movements frozed just like the time she was pregnant, when everything about her had changed, but this time she was not pregnant but just that, she looked more mature and all her smiles in the days had vanished, making her a bit cold and unable to come close to like before. The servants bowed nervously when they noticed her presence in the room and Helena shook when she saw her, "wow! Queen Helena, what lovely ones you have here!" She exclaimed with a known smile, Helena tried to say something but it only came out so weakly that Esther had to come closer in order to hear and had a mockery smile on her face. " L..leave me.... alone" she managed to say, taking in a deep breath with her hands supporting her abdomen. "Tsk,tsk.... don't be like that, am only happy for you queen Helena, and why would I leave you?" Esther said and even went closer to Helena with her daunting and scary figure, "and.....and why would I leave you, as if you left me all those years" she said before she pulled away from her and went straight to her babies in court and even touched the female one. She just couldn't wait to deal with all them, then the king entered the room with a big smile, he was indeed the most happy man in the world, first was his mate and son coming around with Helena giving him the twins was just great. He rewarded the grandmaester and his team, before t news reached the people of Helena giving birth, while a whole lot was happening, Helel sat on the roof of the tallest building of the palace staring at the huge gold and black gates of the palace. It was like he couldn't move further from the building, he had passed out from trying to get out of the palace, he just wished he could vanish just like the king, was the rumors in the palace even true! Was he the only child of the king that has strange abilities almost like the king, he had been in the palace for weeks now and had heard a lot of things even from the people in the palace who just couldn't stop gossiping about he and mother's return to the palace. " You seem to love this spot" he heard someone say and he did not turn to look at the creature, with his strong presence he knew who was coming. " You know a lot are scared of me, but you don't look like you are even affected by my presence" the man came to sit by Helel on the roof and tapped his shoulder. " Honestly, I don't know what to do or how to fix what had happened a decade ago, but there is one thing I am glad to have and that is you and your mother being alive" and Helel turned to look at the powerful man who was at this point a helpless man. " So you did not send anyone to kill us?" Came the straight question from Helel and he turned to face the seriously angry boy with a frown. " What? Why would I kill the people l was keeping close eyes on, to tell you I found your existence some years ago and had to keep you and your mother hidden.....how stupid I was to think you were safe in that village" his fingers formed a fist at the thought of it and Helel turned to stare back at nothing less. " Will you tell me what to do....so I can keep what's remaining?" The king asked him in a distressed tone. With that the boy stood up and started walking away from the king, " how can you fix everything that my mother went through, not to talk about what I had to face everyday.....when I needed my father where were you, I needed help with things that mother couldn't do anything about you were here with your family!" He spoke while still walking away and the king did not follow him, at a distance Helel punched right into the wall on his left cracking it with the impact and that side of the building shook, it was supposed to be destroyed but was stopped suppressed by the king's force. " Your majesty!" A man shouted and ran to the king who was about go down on his knees due to pain.

Esther stood at her window looking at the lovely sunset and then the knock on the door made her startled, she had warned the king to not come near her so who was it now. " Come in!" She said with irritation and her eyes widened when the man entered, " your highness" he said and bowed deeply, the man never changes, the king's right-hand man. " Highness, I wanted to talk to you about the king" he said with a worried expression.....

" Someone seems to be enjoying the night breeze!" A sound that made Helel turn and he was quick to hug the man, " godfather!...I missed you" he said as he tried to control his tears from dropping, Forneus told him to be strong no matter what. Forneus rubbed his back and kissed his forehead, " its okay boy!" He said yet Helel did not want to let the man go, " but...how are you here, godfather! The security?" The boy asked with confusion and then his eyes widened when Forneus had a known smirk on his face." They just let me in, you know?" Forneus said and winked at the boy...
