Chapter 8 - Lilith

Lilith

As I feasted on the food before me, Lilith continued to watch. I thought the silence would be uncomfortable and yet, sitting here with her, a serene feeling washed over me. I hadn't been this at peace in what felt like months.

The food was so exotic and extravagant that I had only seen it during the Balls of Awakening I had gone to. "Are you not going to eat?" I asked, breaking the silence I found so comfortable.

"I have already had my fill, little dragon." She gave me a knowing smile like I missed something over the past night. "Enjoy your meal, you have earned it."

I continued eating, slowly so as to not disgrace my family with lacking manners, and in a hope to impress her with mine. Finally, after I finished the meal I started picking up my plates to help clean. "There is no need for that. The maids will clean it up. Come follow me."

I obeyed and got up to follow her. Before leaving the door I saw an elven maid start picking up my plates. Her eyes hollow and dull, her movements flawless yet rigid.

Putting the elven girl out of my mind I followed the woman who saved me, housed me, and fed me, for seemingly nothing in return.

As I stepped into the opulent throne room, my eyes widened in awe at the sight before me. The chamber was adorned with rich tapestries depicting scenes of ancient battles and mythical creatures, their vibrant colors shimmering in the dim light that filtered through stained glass windows.

At the far end of the room, atop a raised dais, stood a magnificent throne carved from ebony wood and adorned with gilded accents. Upon the throne sat Lilith, her regal presence commanding attention as she surveyed her domain with an air of authority and grace.

"Welcome, little dragon, to the heart of Aphrodisia," Lilith said, her voice echoing through the chamber like the tolling of a bell. "Here, amidst the splendor of my realm, you shall find answers to the questions that plague your mind."

I approached cautiously, my footsteps echoing against the marble floor as I drew nearer to the throne. The weight of Lilith's gaze bore down upon me, stirring a mixture of trepidation and curiosity within my soul.

"You have many questions, I can sense them swirling within you like a tempest on the sea," Lilith continued, her eyes shimmering with an otherworldly light. "Ask, and I shall do my best to provide the answers you seek."

My mind raced with a myriad of inquiries, each one a thread in the tapestry of uncertainty that enveloped me. But one question burned brighter than the rest, demanding to be heard above the clamor of my thoughts.

"Why have you brought me here, Lilith?" I asked, my voice tinged with a mixture of curiosity and apprehension. "What is it that you seek from me?"

Lilith's smile was enigmatic, a dance of shadows and light that played across her lips like a whispered secret. "I have brought you here, little dragon, because you possess a power that few can comprehend," she replied, her words laced with an undercurrent of mystery. "You are the last son of House Bellona, heir to a legacy forged in the fires of destiny. And it is your destiny that I seek to unravel."

Her words hung in the air like a veil of mist, obscuring the true nature of her intentions. I felt a surge of apprehension wash over me, a nagging doubt that whispered of hidden agendas and veiled motives.

"But what of my family, my people?" I pressed, my voice trembling with emotion. "What of the attack on Ashmere, and the betrayal of my brother? Are they not worthy of your attention?"

Lilith's expression softened, her eyes shimmering with a mixture of sorrow and understanding. "Your family, your people, they are dear to you, I can see that," she said, her voice a gentle caress against the tumult of my thoughts. "But there are forces at play beyond your comprehension, forces that seek to unravel the very fabric of your reality."

She rose from her throne, her movements fluid and graceful as she approached me. "I offer you guidance, little dragon, a path to enlightenment amidst the chaos that surrounds you," she continued, her words like a beacon of light in the darkness. "Will you walk beside me, and embrace the destiny that awaits? All you must do is kneel."

I hesitated, torn between loyalty to my family and the allure of Lilith's offer. But deep down, I knew that the path ahead was fraught with peril, and that the choices I made would shape the course of my destiny.

But before I could make a decision, my body made it for me. I dropped to one knee, perplexed by the action I had just taken.

'What? Why did I do that?' I thought.

"Good job, my little dragon," Lilith's sultry voice cooed in response to my body's actions. "From this moment you are mine, my little dragon, my knight, and my thrall."

As I looked up at her, horror spread through my eyes. Her head was now crowned with spiraling horns. From her back, two draconic-like wings unfurled. And from her perky ass, came a demonic tail that swayed closer and closer to me, wrapping itself around my arm.

"As you can see, little Caius, you have now sworn yourself to me. A succubus, and not just any, I am royalty second in power only to Queen Malcanthet, my great-grandmother."

I stared at her eyes, no longer the earthy brown I saw but replaced with glowing pink ones that stared into the depths of my soul. Her pupils lost their circular shape and became hearts from where magic seemed to radiate.

"Come, child of Bellona, embrace me, your new master. Your Mistress." My body reacted on its own, feeling her tail wrap itself around me. I stepped closer to her and found myself locked in her embrace and lost in her glowing eyes.
