"Drop your weapons and go down on your fucking knees, quickly!" I shouted at the bastards. They obeyed instantly, dropping their weapons and kneeling, except for the one in front.
"Are you deaf?" I furrowed my brow slightly, watching in satisfaction as he reluctantly obeyed.
Isabella hurried over to where I stood, clutching Nathan tightly in her arms. She hugged me, tears streaming down her face.
"Are you alright?" I whispered, caressing her cheek softly.
"I'm fine, sir, but I don't know about Nathan. He hasn't woken up yet."
My heart clenched at her words. I turned to the fool in front of me. My rage was barely contained. "What did you give my son?" I roared. "Answer me!"
"It was a sleeping pill, nothing more," he shivered violently. "He'll be awake soon, I swear."
"What's your name?"
"Beta Ken of the Star Moon pack, sir."
