I was getting really tired kneeling here, and I had no idea where Razor was. Exhausted, I sat on my knees, hoping that I would be fast enough when Razor returned. This was all Kelsey's fault; I've warned that girl several times to stay away from my husband, but she's just too unbearable. If not for Felicia, I would have reported my suspicion about her to Razor.
The door creaked open, and my heart leaped. Quickly, I straightened up and pressed my head against the wall, trying to maintain a composed exterior as Razor's footsteps echoed in the study.
"Get up, Isabella," he said in a lazy tone.
Relief washed over me, and I stood up, but the numbness in my legs made me wince in pain. I kicked my leg in the air, trying to alleviate some of the discomfort, unaware that Razor had approached me. Suddenly, he picked me up, carrying me bridal style out of the study.
