"Boss?" Chris's eyes almost bulged out from their sockets as he instantly dropped to his knees, appearing utterly surprised to see me, much like Tara.
"I asked a question, didn't I?" My brow raised suspiciously as I took slow strides, now standing in front of them. "Repeat what you said, Chris."
"Boss, I... I..."
"Shut the hell up and spill it, or do you want me to read your mind? What the hell did both of you do?"
He visibly shuddered, heightening my suspicions even more.
"It was my fault, Razor," Tara cut in, taking a step backwards.
"Your fault?" I raised an eyebrow, studying Tara's expression for any signs of deception because she was a known fucking liar. "Explain."
Tara shifted uncomfortably, avoiding eye contact. "I... I disrespected your wife."
My eyes narrowed slightly. "What the hell are you talking about?"
"You see, um... I got into a fight with her."
