Sadly, the only pieces of clothing that still fit me were the ones from my evolution and the ones from my arrival in this world. I was thankfully able to have some undergarments with this, but it did mean that I was forced to pick between a dress and a pair of jeans with a white blouse.
For the sake of ease I put on the dress only to realize I no longer had any shoes which fit me either. Since I was in the house right now, I decided that it did not matter and made my way out of my room.
Making my way down the stairs, I stopped at the bottom, not wanting to continue, and let Mom and Yuki see what happened. I thought for a moment and briefly considered running passed the dining room and out of the house, but that would not go very well.
I eventually let out a sigh and walked toward the dining room. Stepping through the door, I could feel Mom's eyes lock on to me, but I ignored her for the moment and walked over to the table.
I then sat down in my chair and finally looked around the table to see the reactions of Mom and Yuki.
Surprisingly, I did not see the reaction I thought I would. First off, Mom was looking at me like I was some form of doll again, like during the shopping trip. While on the other hand Yuki was looking at me with what I thought was some madness in her eyes.
I could also see her hand twitching occasionally, which was starting to give me a strange, foreboding feeling. I then saw the breakfast burritos on the table and immediately forgot about it.
If there was one thing that could pull my mind off of anything, it would be Mexican food!
I then quickly turned my head to Mom and tried to signal her with my eyes to start the meal by looking from the burrito to her multiple times. For some reason, this did not have the desired effect as she started laughing instead.
I pouted upon seeing this, which, for some reason, got the message across. Mom then picked up her silverware and cut into the burrito, which I thought was a sacrilege to all of burrito kind, and took a bite.
With that done and out of the way, I reached forward and grabbed the burrito in front of me before lifting it up and taking a bite out of it.
It was so good that I could not help but take a second and then a third bite. It was only then that I realized I was having a hard time chewing the food in my mouth, so I stopped biting into the burrito to actually chew my food.
I already had a run-in with choking on my food in my past life, and I did not want a repeat of that now.
While I was thinking about that and chewing on my food I closed my eyes as I heard a notification from my system.
Ignoring it for now, I continued to eat as I felt something sliding along my back, but from the feel of it, I played it off as my tail moving about from how happy I was.
It was then that I felt two different hands patting my head. Opening my eyes I looked around me to find Mom and Yuki standing on both sides of me.
Both of them were reaching out a hand and patting my head while smiling at me. I then saw the system window that popped up while I was eating.
[Due to the interference from the deity {Stephanie}, your curse has progressed to its complete state.]
[You have lost the abnormal status {De-aging Curse}]
[The stat {Age} has been added to your status until you reach the age of 18]
Reading the messages, I wanted to punch something, but I also did not want to put down my burrito, so I compromised by pouting while holding the burrito in my hand and received more head pats for my trouble.
It was then that I heard another message from the system and watched a system window pop up in my vision.
[The Title sub-system has been activated prematurely.]
[You have gained the title {Cute Enough to Make gods Fall}]
[Title effects: increase cuteness by 50% and make all actions performed done in an inherently cute manner.]
[As the title {Cute Enough to Make gods Fall} is the only title you currently have, it has been auto-equipped and can not be removed until you gain a new title.]
Reading this, I was at first confused; then I was angered before finally enraged. I was so angry that I spitefully took a large bite out of my burrito, stuffing my cheeks like a squirrel.
When I did this, I thought I heard something thumping against the ground next to me, but I did not care and just continued to stare ahead while angrily eating my burrito.
Eventually, the other two went back to their seats and started eating again.
I finished faster than the other two as I was, first of all, eating my burrito the normal way, but I also was the only one who did not take a break to pat someone else's head.
Regardless, when the meal was over, I left the room first and walked into the courtyard to grab my bow. I then started to pick random points around the courtyard as my targets and started firing while waiting for Mom to leave the house.
This session went on for about an hour when I started to get impatient and wanted to turn around to see if she had come out yet. It was then that multiple targets started to float in the air all around me.
Looking back to the house I was able to Mom leaning against the door frame with one hand in the air. Seeing me look back at her, she quickly waved before throwing me a full quiver and motioning to all the floating targets.
I was still a little mad about earlier, but this did help to make me happier as I loved shooting things. Whether it was with a bow or rifle mattered little. Thus began another hour of uninterrupted marksmanship practice.
After this hour, though, was when the peace was shattered by an annoying old man called the Sect Master.
He flew into the courtyard during practice and completely ignored the front door. Mom then walked up to him while holding up the targets in the air as I was still practicing.
I then turned to the side to fire at another target when I heard him say, "Who's the little kid?"
This caused my anger to flair up and made me want to punch him. I then made the realization that the arrows I was using would most likely not be able to injure him so I quickly changed my target and let an arrow fly.
Once the arrow was let free from the bow, it shot toward the ground in a corner of the courtyard. At the spot where it would strike the ground was a flat rock angle toward the sky.
When the arrow struck the rock, it ricocheted into the air, flying toward the courtyard's wall at a shallow angle. As it struck the wall, however, the shallow angle caused the arrow to ricochet once more.
Now, the arrow was flying toward the roof of the library, which was three stories tall, at another shallow angle.
When the arrow struck the building this time, it was sent into the sky at a slight angle and almost went out of sight.
The Sect Master watched all of this and laughed before saying, "Hey kid, you might want to give up archery if you are making shots like that. It might be better if you focus on techniques that emphasize your cuteness instead."
This response angered me even more, so I imbued some Qi into my next arrow and fired above the wall and past any of the targets.
I then focused my mind on the Qi inside the arrow and tried to pull it around the house that was in front of me.
It was at this point that I heard a faint whistling from the sky that was too high-pitched for a human to hear.
Turning around and looking behind me, I saw Mom's ears perk up on top of her head as she looked up. The Sect Master standing beside her did not notice anything and looked at Mom, confused.
This confusion did not last long, though, as, in the next second, an arrow fell from the sky and struck him in the shoulder. The arrow itself shattered upon contact, but the small line of blood that I saw appear there was very gratifying.
The Sect Master then grabbed his shoulder and looked at me, only to see a small smile on my face. He then did something to cause a small light to appear on his shoulder as he opened his mouth to say something.
However, the end was yet to come.
