Taffi returned to Olena's cottage. Before this, he had visited several times to check up on her and keep her company as he had always done.
Sometimes, he got the chance to watch her practice the spell that he couldn't cast because he was a Southern wizard.
But after his last visit, Olene had told him that she had perfected the spell and showed him one of her specimens. But Olena told him to come back two weeks later so that she could practice a little more.
Now Taffi had returned, and he was seated on the same wooden stool that he used to whenever he visited.
