Like Peter had suggested, they took another path, and in an hour, they stood before the entrance to the cave.
The path through the cave was dark , and the guard had to light torch of burning woods, and some with lanterns. Some had to walk in front just to light the path, while Sania kept her book on her lap with her eyes closed and her hand on the pendant.
In no time, the seemingly dark cave became brighter, there was an opening not so far away from where they stood but it wasn't so bright because the sun had almost made its way down the horizon.
As soon as they got out of the cave into what seemed to be a little, but wealthy village, Ariel turned to Sania and said,
"Welcome to Lystra."
"Lystra?" She raised a brow.
"Yes, that's what this place is called." Ariel added, and Sania looked out the carriage. Wherever it was that they were, she couldn't help but marvel at the beauty of the village.
