Taffi searched from one part of the castle to the other, wherever he assumed that Sania might be. He unlocked as many doors and kept calling her name.
"What is going on?" Ariel asked, but froze when she saw the rage in her brother's eyes. It was far worse than what she dealt with in the dining room a few days ago.
The red hue in his eyes had darkened so much that it was nearly turning black, and this worried Ariel because never had she seen him in such a state.
"Taffi, breathe, please," she pleaded and slowly tried to approach him like a beast that she attempted to tame.
"Where is she? Where is Sania?" Taffi asked her in a loud voice.
"You have to calm down, Taffi, you can't let her see you like this, please, Taffi, go stare at the fountain and we'll look for her together after you've settled down."
