Chapter 1 - The begining

Every story has its unique beginning. Mine? Starting with my father killing the Male lead's entire family.

"Orelia. Happy birthday, my dear daughter."

"The Love Story Between Him and Me" - As the title says, it is a BL novel.

However, unlike dozens of other hardcore stories with tons of drama that just keep shoving into the reader's throat, this story is full of sweetness and healing factors.

...….Or that's what "she" said…..

The truth is I'm not a fujoshi. And the only reason I knew about this novel was because of my friend, who babbled about it every single day as if she wanted to ham the novel into my head.

And even so, the only thing I can remember was some minor details that have been heavily fantasized

**********************************************************************************

"Father, what did you bring back?"

With a gentle voice, I asked my father again while trying my best to act calm as I watched him show off his trophy, a boy who looked no different from a corpse.

"Just a filthy thing."

He sneered with a voice that couldn't be more despicable.

The word came out of his mouth lightly, as if calling Linus "a human" was that ridiculous to him.

[Shouldn't you at least call "brat" or something? He's your "nephew", after all…]

I sighed.

This series begins, with the entire family of the male lead, Linus de Orlando, being murdered. And the culprit is none other than my father, Theorian Orlando, who was also the adoptive younger brother of the male lead's father.

"What are you going to do with him, father? This one looked like he was just one step away from death."

Surprised, my father quickly threw away his bloody gloves to the guards and patted my head lovingly.

"Isn't it already obvious? Of course, it was my beloved daughter's birthday present."

[Excuse me?!]

As my face gradually turned pale, my damned father continued to brag about his "present".

At that momment, I couldn't even hear anything, nor did I want to. I just want to fucking die !!!

Somehow, someway, the word "Bunny" I uttered at the most impulsive moment seems to come back and bite me in the ass.

The guards grabbed the man by the hair at my father's command, causing the inmate to be jerked back violently. His hands were bound with coarse rope, and his mouth was gagged with a rag.

And yet he did not appear to be defeated by the situation.

[This guy?!]

As he continued to resist flinching, pride appeared to flow from his physique. He glared at us fiercely as if he wanted to devour us both.

The extreme hatred in his gaze made me shiver.

Even the slightest mistake by the guards at this moment could cause me to be strangled to death by him.

"Such a wonderful gift, Father. I'm glad you still remember my simple wish."

"Of course, sweetie. Father always remembers."

With a voice mixed with happiness and pride, Theorian pinned my cheek lovingly.

"However, this one is still not ready for my precious daughter to play with. Keep it in the dungeons until it learns some manners."

My father said.

"It's not? But I'm about to die of excitement! Can I at least come down and play with him sometimes, just sometimes, please?"

"....."

"Please?"

...........................…..........................

And so with teary eyes and nonstop begging (in a maximum of 10 minutes), Theorian has allowed me to "play" with Linus.

"But only when you have finished your imperial training, young lady!"

He said.

" Of course!"

She answered.

"...."

In a damp dungeon with only a few dim candlelights, the blood body of Linus is trapped with all kinds of different chains, even those that are specially made for the fiercest monsters. What a scene that makes people shudder unconsciously...

With an old bag full of medicine and tools on my shoulder, I had no choice but to enter his cell to do what even I could.

To be honest, the original plot already went out of the window right from the moment I was transmigrate here.

Time is like a stream. And only a small change can cause it to flow to another turn. Completely new. With little to no relation to what we knew.

And now, with the soul of the original Orelia, who was known to be cruel and spoiled, has been replaced by a complete stranger, Me. I'm not ready sure what will happen anymore.

But at least with my ability, I am determined to complete the mission and return safely…..Probably.

[But still... how can I even pull this off?!]

Compared to the last time I saw him, his condition was slightly better. Just "slightly", that's all. Father must have informed his troops that the prisoners must be treated carefully. However, seeing how Linux's wounds are treated, I seriously doubt that they even cared.

[Just some petty revenge.]

I guess, as if I didn't easily expect this to happen when Father deliberately set up all the people who had fallen victim to Linux's family to take care of him.

How messed up!

I pulled out a bottle full of precious medicine from my bag, opened it, and pulled his hair back. It might hurt a little bit, but at least I knew I was doing it for our sake. So, ignoring the initial cough, I slowly fed Linux spoonfuls of medicine until the bottle is empty.

[For an unconscious and weak person, he drank it quite easily...]

Is this what they called the main character's halo?

"Ugh…"

Linux suddenly groaned in pain.

What is this?

How could he even move? Just after taking that small amount of medicine?

Will he wake up?

But before I finally caught sight of those green eyes again, his eyelids trembled. In an effort to clear his eyesight, he blinked slowly while maintaining an unfocused look, only to fall back into unconsciousness.

No, he won't. Of course, he won't.

Oh well, I didn't expect him to wake up this early anyway. And my experiment can't even begin. Too bad.
