"Wait, are you the lady from the elevator that the security camera guy reported?" one of the people among them asked, causing Dana's face to redden in embarrassment.
'Oh, goodness,' she sighed inwardly.
Mr. Hendricks then spoke up, "I apologize, Sir Julian, my boss, and shareholders," he said with a bow to each of them, sounding genuinely apologetic and frustrated. "She's just a kid." He added, referring to Dana.
Though he didn't know what she might have done in the elevator, he was sure that for his boss, the CEO Tristan, to have mentioned it, it couldn't have been good.
"Why are you apologizing?" CEO Tristan, the one who asked the question, inquired.
"She was really good at acting like she was cursing and talking to herself. And then boldly performing not just for Sir Julian's sake but also with him. She's a crazy and talented artist, and you're lucky to have her, Hendricks."
