They both walked back towards the village in the silence of the forest. The stillness made it hard for Leaf to look at Renzor, her mind a tangled mess, the lingering heat refusing to dissipate.
Halfway through the forest, Renzor stopped abruptly. Leaf, a few steps ahead, turned to look at him. His breathing was heavy as if a fire coursed through him.
"Renzor, are you okay?" she asked, her voice tinged with concern. She walked up to him, but Renzor's eyes remained fixed on the ground, his fists clenched tightly.
He says nothing.
"Renzor," her hand reaches out, touching his shoulder. "Renzor, I'm sor-" she tries to speak, but Renzor suddenly grabs her, pressing his lips against hers, in a desperate kiss. His hands roamed her body, caressing her curves.
She pushed him away, gasping for air, her cheeks burning. "R-Renzor, w-what are you doing?" But she ignores her own words and pulls him close, kissing him back.
