Chapter 3 - Becoming A Creator God

Ulin Space

While lost in thought, a scroll suddenly materialized in front of Ulin. He recognized that only those assigned to study the changes on the planet, which fell under tower six, had the authority to send reports like this. As he examined the report, it contained only one sentence.

[Found changes in the planet, loss of a large amount of energy]

Upon seeing this, he quickly closed his eyes and synchronized the timeline with the outside universe. When dealing with planets, changes could only be observed after millions or billions of years. Therefore, time flowed differently in this realm. One year here was equivalent to a thousand years in the outside universe.

Ulin then swiped his hand and summoned the reporter. Standing before the Creator God, the reporter instinctively attempted to kneel, but Ulin stopped him.

"No need to kneel, just tell me what happened, Berengar."

Berengar nodded and continued, "Lord, our group was responsible for the Easarth planet. It is a planet with technological inheritance and is governed by human civilization. Easarth is only 2.763 billion years old, but many people are already exploring the universe. To slow down their outward development, tower 7 decided to introduce magical inheritance. Everything was progressing well, but 7 hours ago, Easarth Planet experienced a significant energy loss. Since we can't observe the planet's interior, we've come to seek your guidance."

Ulin recalled making changes to the Easarth planet, but due to the sheer volume of work, he never paid much attention to the details. He mechanically followed the report, not delving into the specifics. Even if something went wrong, it was just one planet. Additionally, the workers possessed a quality of perfectionism; with their deep understanding of the task, they rarely made incorrect decisions.

Summoning the virtual projection of the universe, Ulin searched for the Easarth planet. He observed a celestial body surrounded by a blue barrier. Unless physically present, this was the only aspect he could perceive.

Perhaps a genuine Creator God could see inside, but Ulin was just a pseudo creator god. The only way for him to comprehend the planet's situation was by communicating with ALTARK, the universe's consciousness. This process required a substantial amount of void energy. If he wasn't concerned about the potential attack from another universe, he truly wouldn't want to squander his void energy.

After some time, he finally received a message from ALTARK.

[ORIGIN UNIVERSE]

'So, there is finally a new origin universe in our unverse. I don't know if there is an intelligent creature inside or not.'

The ALTARK universe was also formed from the origin universe, and after serving as a pseudo-creator for quite some time, Ulin had acquired extensive knowledge about the origin universe.

The origin universe lacked pure consciousness, merely moving around unconsciously. Therefore, the process of forming a new universe might take a million or even a billion supereons unless someone took control of it.

Initially, the original space would absorb various small elements such as light, gas, dust, microorganisms, etc.

Over time, these microorganisms would undergo multiple evolutions, eventually leading to the creation of an intelligent creature. Following the emergence of an intelligent creature, moments would arise when it begins a selection process to choose the suitable individual.

The selected individual would then fully merge with the original space, possessing complete authority over it. In the multiverse, this type of person is also known as the creator god.

In the case of the ALTARK universe, during the selection of the creator god, a decision was made to split the authority. This turned out to be their most significant mistake.

During that period, the Origin Universe handpicked 100 prestigious individuals and tasked them with deciding among themselves who would assume the role of the creator god.

Upon realizing that the creator god would enjoy longevity matching that of the universe and possess absolute authority over the origin universe, none of them were willing to forgo this opportunity.

After much discussion, they ultimately chose to divide this authority among themselves. This 1% authority granted them the capability to exist indefinitely in this universe, control over part of this universe, and a share of the void energy.

Even though it was stated that each of them held only 1% authority, their status was indistinguishable from the actual creator at that time. They possessed the ability to perform all the tasks the creator god could undertake. The sole distinction lay in the fact that if one of them modified something, another could intervene to restore it or make additional changes.

To avoid unwanted interference, they unanimously opted to designate distinct personal areas for each of them, ensuring that others could not intrude upon them.

While the space within the origin universe was infinite, the majority of it remained vacant. All the materials were concentrated at a single point, which happened to be the sole planet in the origin universe. To address this, each of them evenly divided the area of this planet among themselves.

Upon acquiring their personal areas and experiencing the creator god's power, they recognized that their abilities were entirely reliant on the available material. Eager to enhance their capabilities, they sought to increase the size of their personal areas. Unfortunately, there was no unown material left.

So, they directed their attention towards the vast expanse outside, where an infinite abundance of materials lay. By opening portals, they believed they could acquire anything they desired.

Unlike the small portal unconsciously opened by the origin space, each of them simultaneously initiated the opening of 100 large portals to the outside world. However, they could only keep these portals open for a limited duration before facing expulsion from the planet.

This occurrence took them by surprise since it was the first time such an event had transpired. However, observing that nothing adverse happened to the origin universe, they chose to disregard it.

In contrast to the planet, as they consumed asteroids and lifeless planets in space, they discovered that they could ingest more before reaching a limit. Upon reaching the limit, instead of being expelled, a thin barrier would envelop their portal for a brief period.

However, after the barrier appeared 12 times, they found themselves unexpectedly teleported to another universe, where they continued with the same process.

...

In the seventh universe, just as they were on the brink of teleporting to another universe, a massive creature with numerous tentacles manifested outside the origin universe.

Initially fearful, they later realized that the colossal creature with numerous tentacles was the sole creator god of this universe. It had appeared out of curiosity about their behavior of indiscriminately consuming everything without considering the consequences.

Through this encounter, they learned that being expelled from the planet and the temporary portal blockage was acceptable. However, the issue arose when they were transferred to another universe.

This signified that when their origin universe transformed into a genuine universe, 1% of the total void energy would be continuously transferred to the universes from which they were expelled (teleported). Including this instance, they had experienced expulsion seven times, resulting in the loss of 7% of the total void energy.

The creator god also conveyed to them that they didn't necessarily have to devour a large quantity of the same type of material. Having a sample would suffice, as they could recreate it using void energy. Currently, their access to void energy was limited, but once they transformed into a real universe by stationing the origin universe in the void, void energy would cease to be a concern.

From that point forward, they adopted a more selective approach to their consumption, focusing only on materials they lacked rather than indiscriminately devouring everything.

---------------------------------------------------------

A month had passed since the origin universe departed from the Easarth planet, and significant changes had occurred within its interior.

Initially, while devouring the Easarth planet, the materials were carelessly placed. However, upon leaving the planet and embarking on their space travels, the origin universe started to organize these materials.

The restructuring involved placing hard stones in the bottom layer, followed by wet soil. The burned wood was then pulverized and added to the top layer. After this rearrangement, the total area should be approximately the size of a football field.

Above the ground, sunlight persisted without dispersing for an extended period. Regarding air and microorganisms, their presence or absence remained uncertain as he was detached from all of this.

Sepheron stood outside this area, suspended in the void. Since entering this space, he hadn't moved, blinked, breathed, slept, or consumed anything, yet he remained alive. Apart from the ability to move his eyes, he was unable to do anything else.

He spent the majority of his time gazing out into the expanse beyond the origin universe, observing swiftly passing planets, stars, and asteroids.

Even an astronaut would eventually feel boredom, isolation, and loneliness over time. However, whenever Sepheron experienced negative thoughts like these, a surge of energy would pass through his body, dispelling those feelings. This was how he could maintain his sanity and optimism in this situation.

...

A considerable amount of time had elapsed, and a forest had flourished in what was once barren land, reminiscent of the Kastick forest. Within this newly grown forest, while there were no large creatures, various small insects, including earthworms, beetles, spiders, and others, could be spotted.

...

Sepheron didn't know how much time had passed; finally, one day he felt a connection with the origin universe. A large amount of information flooded his mind, leading to a deep sense of enlightenment.

He understood that the isolation he had experienced was part of the process of merging with the origin universe. Now that this fusion was complete, he had achieved omnipotence and omniscience, becoming the creator god of the origin universe.
