The horde of demons charged towards the caravan.
The horde consisted of demons with rank 1 and a few rank 3 and 4 commander types.
The commander types ran towards Aru while the rest swarmed the caravan. This includes Lith and Aru's companions, who were behind the caravan.
'The demons are moving in a well-organized manner. This is not how a normal demon horde behaves.' Aru realised the fact soon.
He smiled seeing the commander types charging at him.
'There must be a demon queen giving orders.' He assumed. After all, he had seen the fireball that looked like an attack from a rank 5 before.
Demon queens were demons that showed intelligence. Normally, when a demon well opens, a demon queen would be present inside. But there were cases when a small demon well opened without any queen.
However that only happens when the smallest kind of demon well opens.
