Chapter 3 - Liberation from the cave (miracle of lamp)

Aladdin, imprisoned in a dark cave, was thinking about his deceitful uncle. He was thinking that maybe his uncle might not actually be his uncle. If that merchant had been his real uncle, he would never have imprisoned him in this cave. He thought that now perhaps he will have to die by suffocation here. Lost in such thoughts, he came to the garden. The beauty of the garden was present as before and the fruits and flowers growing in it were spreading their beauty as before.

Aladdin sat under a tree. He was very sad. I was wondering when death would come here. A lot of time passed while he sat in the same position. Now he also started feeling hungry. Aladdin plucked fruits from a tree and ate them and drank the cold water of the river flowing in front of him. Aladdin felt some relief by eating sweet fruits and drinking cold water.

Many days passed since Aladdin was imprisoned in the cave. He would pluck fruits from trees and eat them and drink cold water. He was filling his stomach in the same way, but what good is there in eating fruits? Aladdin became weaker day by day. He would sit on the stones all day long and cry over his fate. She missed her mother a lot. He wondered how upset his mother would be if he did not reach home. Thinking this made him even more upset, but what could the poor fellow do? The door to exit the cave was closed.

The merchant who disguised himself as Aladdin's uncle and imprisoned Aladdin in the cave was none other than 'Sensen', a dangerous magician from Africa. With the help of his magic, Sanson had discovered that at a place in the forest of Afghanistan, there is a magical lamp hidden underground. Every impossible task in the world can be completed in a jiffy by the genie of that lamp, but only a person living in that village of Afghanistan can take out that lamp. So Sanson's eyes fell on Aladdin and he disguised himself and trapped Aladdin and his mother in his trap. His plan was to take out the lamp, lock it in the same cave and escape from there, but due to Aladdin's stubbornness, his plan could not succeed. He was forced to lock Aladdin in a cave along with the lamp and himself fled back to Africa. On the other hand, Aladdin was sitting under a tree thinking about his life. What was that and what happened? He thought that it would be better to try to get out of here rather than suffocate and die like this. , Maybe he sees a door or a way to open the door? Thinking this, Aladdin started wandering here and there in the cave. He saw darkness in the cave after the garden.

Aladdin entered that darkness with a ray of hope in his mind. After going inside that cave he got lost. There was complete darkness in the cave. Aladdin used to fall here and there due to darkness.

Suddenly an incident happened. It so happened that Aladdin stumbled at one place and fell down. The merchant's ring, which Aladdin was still wearing, hit a stone. As soon as the ring hit the stone, there was an explosion and a terrible looking genie appeared there. As soon as he appeared, he said in a loud voice - "I am your slave, my master. I become the slave of the one in whose hand this ring is. Now you are my master and I am your slave. Order me what I can do for you. Can I do it?" Aladdin was horrified after hearing his terrible appearance and terrible voice. Out of fear he closed his eyes and started trembling, but still he gathered courage and said to the genie in fear - "Take me out of this cave quickly, I am suffocating here." Before Aladdin could say anything, the next moment he found himself at the same place where he had come with his deceitful uncle. Now there was no trace of any tunnel or cave there. Aladdin started looking around him in a surprised manner. He could not believe that he had been freed from the prison of the cave. He couldn't even see that genie anywhere. Perhaps he had finished his work and left.

Thinking this, Aladdin stood like this for a few moments. When he was completely sure that he had really been freed from the prison of the cave, his happiness knew no bounds. He thanked God a lot and quickly started towards his home. That mysterious lamp was still lying in his pocket.

As soon as Aladdin reached home, his mother took him under her wing. His mother burst into tears. Sobbing the mother asked, "Where were you all these days, son?"

Aladdin also started crying after meeting his mother. He narrated his entire ordeal to his mother. His mother was surprised to hear about Aladdin's uncle. Aladdin also showed the lamp and the colored stones to his mother. Aladdin was very hungry. When he spoke to his mother, his mother said, "Son, has all the ration items been exhausted in so many days?" Aladdin smiled softly and gave the lamp to his mother and said, "Here mother, this lamp seems to be made of brass. Take it to the market and sell it and get something to eat. I am very hungry." His mother started going out with the lamp. Then Aladdin called out, "Wait mother, first let me clean this lamp properly and make it shine. This will fetch a good price for it."

She fell upon Aladdin and disguised herself, trapped Aladdin and his mother in her net. Aladdin took the lamp from his mother's hands and started cleaning it by rubbing it. To make the lamp shine again, Aladdin started rubbing it vigorously. Then a strange incident happened.

Suddenly there was a loud explosion and a terrible looking genie appeared in front of Aladdin. Aladdin's mother fainted in fear after seeing the terrible appearance of the Genie. Even Aladdin was scared, but he controlled his senses. As soon as he appeared before Aladdin, the Genie said – "I am your slave, my master. I become the slave of whoever has this lamp. Whatever order you give, I will fulfill it." Aladdin exercised patience and said - "I am very hungry. Arrange good food and drink for me immediately."

On hearing this the genie disappeared and when he returned he had plates of food in his hands. The genie had brought food in gold and silver plates. After giving food, the Genie disappeared and Aladdin ate to his heart's content. After eating his fill he sat down. By then his mother also regained consciousness. After regaining consciousness, she was astonished to see such food items. In a surprised voice he asked Aladdin - "Son, where did you get so much food so quickly?"

"Now our days of poverty have returned, mother." Aladdin said happily, "Now it will only take your permission. All the stuff will come on its own."

Aladdin's mother also ate the food boldly. After that Aladdin washed those plates and sold them in the market. He got a good price for them. Now there was no shortage of anything in Aladdin's house. Whenever any item ran out, Aladdin would light the lamp and the Genie would provide all the items in a jiffy. In this way his days were passing with great pleasure. Now he had no shortage.
