"Hey, that's not fair," Wuxie shot back, crossing his arms. "I don't look for trouble. It just happens to find me. There's a difference."
Minjun, who had been lagging behind with his usual leisurely pace, finally caught up, his flowing azure robes shimmering in the light.
The merman prince's sharp features were alight with mischief, as usual, and his long, silver-blue hair swayed gently with each step. "Trouble finds you because you're like a beacon for it, Wuxie," he teased, poking Wuxie's arm with a slender finger. "But you do have a way of getting out of sticky situations. Like the time you almost got us all drowned in that river."
Wuxie rolled his eyes. "You're never going to let that go, are you?"
"Never," Minjun replied with a grin, tossing a lock of hair over his shoulder dramatically. "Besides, it makes for great stories. The legendary Wuxie, almost bested by a river."
