Eventually, The Abyssal Null Knights, came face to face with the Space Worm that they've been waiting...
The Space Worm is an immense, serpentine monstrosity, its body has that swirling, iridescent hues that mimic the shimmering beauty of distant galaxies. Measuring hundreds of meters in length, its form moves through the vacuum of space like a celestial serpent, leaving a trail of ethereal stardust in its path. Luminescent markings similar to constellations marks its hide, creating an eerie and mesmerizing spectacle.
At the forefront of the Space Worm's colossal form, a cavernous maw opens wide, revealing rows of jagged, crystalline teeth that seem to glisten with the captured light of distant stars. Bioluminescent patterns pulse along the length of the Space Worm, casting an otherworldly glow that illuminates the darkness of space.
"Space Worm has been sighted! All Troops, prepare to engage in battle!" Victor voice roared through all the intercoms of the legions of carrier ship. He is the sole voice and Thea is backing up his voice to further strengthen the call...
At his command, all ships pointed all of their cannons toward the Space Worm. The Space Worm, was lasered focus at the decoy ship that was strategically called by Thea. Their speed is quick and being controlled like a drone. Making it hard for the Space Worm to put any attention at anything else.
"Charge the Laser Beam! Charge the main carrier ship Abyss Cannon as well! We need to be able to kill this thing before it creates an even bigger problem!"
"Yes Captain!"
Everyone does their job, aiming the laser through the optics and Victor is looking a bit salty right now, not knowing if attacking the Space Worm frontally like this would work the best... And then, as he is pondering if this is the correct choice or not... Thea touch her face and a mask naturally appear and covers her face entirely...
"... You're going out already?"
"In order to get the perfect victory, the least I can do is to gauge how strong this Space Worm is... It's true, the Space Worm we're facing is bigger than those we faced before. But, it's still not the first time we faced it... Our weaponry works well." Thea claimed... But, Victor hold her shoulder and stated... "No, don't go out just yet... I have a bad feeling for this."
Thea goes quiet and then touch her face once again, putting away her mask automatically. "If that's what your feelings is telling you, then I shall oblige."
Thea just stood beside Victor, overlooking the situation...
Lasers was shot toward the Space Worm and it hits it well, the roar of the Space Worm can be heard loudly...
Even Noah can hear it...
"What was that scream? A creature?"
"Yes, Captain. That's the scream of a fully matured King Space Worm. The Strongest Variant of the Space Worm. It's nigh impossible killing King Space Worm because it has a good regeneration and have the ability to escape at will using its worm hole."
"Damn... I hope we won't encounter that."
Unbeknownst to Noah, he will eventually have to face against it too.
Back to the Abyssal Way...
The Space Worm, That just been shot with tons of laser, turn its attention toward the main ship of the Abyssal Null Knights Legion. In other words, the ship where Victor and Thea is standing.
The Space Worm gathered energy from that maw of it and the energy gathered there is intense and powerful.
"Captain! A Massive Energy Blast is being prepared by the Space Worm right now. What should we do?"
"Launch the Abyss Cannon toward that energy, now."
"Understood!"
The Control Center press the red button on their table at the same time and a massive black ray was shot from the bottom of the ship toward the Space Worm. Seeing the Abyss Cannon going toward it, the Space Worm launch its own energy blast...
The Shimmering Energy was shot toward the Dark Energy and the two energy collides. Pushing each other back and disrupting the entire battlefield due to how violence the collision are...
Victor realizes the danger and then touch his face, putting on his mask similar to that of Thea. Seeing that, Thea does the same and then both of them hold onto their sword...
The platform below them drop down like an elevator and that leads them down toward the Abyss Cannon... The gate opened in front of them and they stared eye to eye with the Space Worm...
"Victor and Thea. Out!"
The two of them immediately jumped out of the ship and used their thruster to go straight toward the Space Worm...
They didn't know it at the time, but their decision to go face to face against the King Space Worm is the best decision they can do, but no matter what they do, tragedy for the Abyssal Null Knights, have been set in stone...
Meanwhile, on his way toward the Mother Nihility...
"Gaidos. Based on the blueprints that I have made, for the makeshift energy blaster sniper style... Is it possible with the resources we have right now? I know that I have a few blaster that I can use to create it." After understanding my position where I really need a weapon, I decided to take a page out of Damien Lilles way and make a makeshift weapon using the weapon I stole and materials I have.
Since, I need to creatively use my surroundings and things that I have to the best of it can in order to become like him...
"Based on your blueprints, it is. But, There's some changes that you can made to the gun to increase the burst power of it." Explained Gaidos, without giving me anything to work with.
I analyze my blueprints once again and find a way to create the burst shot that my weapon have to be even stronger. After all, this is going to be my main weapon for the time being and any other weapon after that is a sub weapon of mine and even potentially a hidden weapon that I shouldn't reveal instantly.
Anyway, I analyze the blueprints and figures out how I can get my burst power even stronger.
"Aha. I get it now..."
The Galaxy, is still tame for me, so I decided to have a few crafting session while waiting for me to reach Mother Nihility...
And, in the middle of the journey... Gaidos warned me "Captain, I have picked up a distressed signal right in front of us. It came from a fleet of ships and judging from the location of the distress signal and the fact that the King Space Worm screams came from around the same coordinates... We're heading toward a site of fight between them two!"
Hearing about that, I smiled and saw MONEY in the fact that something is happening.
"It's okay. Continue to go there. This is the best chance for us to look for a survivor to bring as a chip and free entry to Mother Nihility!"
If it were Damien Lilles, this is exactly the thing that he would do. I'm also pretty confident of my survival because Fleet of ships is going to be my bait if things get too rough.
