Chapter 29 - ways to be social

Here are some tips for being more social:

Find new interests: Try new hobbies or activities to meet new people and socialize in new environments.

 Extend invitations: Take the initiative to invite people to spend time together. You can throw a party or take friends to a restaurant. 

Practice active listening: Avoid interrupting and try to ask follow-up questions to show you're interested. 

Invite others into your solo activities: If you spend a lot of time alone, consider asking people to join you sometimes.

 Approach it gradually: Don't try to be more social all at once. 

Be confident in yourself: Engage in group activities from a place of self-acceptance.
