Chapter 5 - "Tangled Threads: Betrayals and Broken Vows"

Mr. Charles sat in his office, gazing out the window at the city below. He could see the skyscrapers, the cars, and the people rushing by. But his thoughts were elsewhere, far away from the busy city. He was thinking about the conversation he had just had with me, and how it had left him feeling unsettled. He felt a sense of loss, as if something precious had been taken from him.

Meanwhile, in the world of bright lights and TV studios, Mr. Charles found himself in the midst of a crisis. A scandal had erupted, and he was at the center of it. The media was in a frenzy, and he was trying to navigate the storm. But he couldn't help but think of the conversation he had had with me, and how different things had been just a short time ago.

Mr. Charles sat alone at the dining table, arranging the plates that we had used earlier. As he looked at the plates, a thought came to him: "She cooks well." He smiled to himself, thinking about the delicious meal I had prepared. But despite the good food, he couldn't shake the feeling of loss that had come over him after our conversation.

The stage was set for an interview featuring Director Park and actor Jafar. The air crackled with anticipation as the host welcomed them. "Director Park, can you tell us about your vision for this film and how it relates to the theme?" the host asked. Director Park paused, then began to speak.

Interrupting the unfolding drama, Mr. Charles voiced his discontent with the news. "There's no substance here," he said. "This is just fluff." The spotlight shifted back to the film, and the host turned to Jafar. "Why did you choose to join this project, despite the modest budget?" she asked.

As the conversation delved into Jafar's personal life, the host questioned the frequent video calls he had been making. "Are you sure there's nothing romantic going on?" she asked, raising an eyebrow. Jafar, however, coolly claimed that it was just his cat. "My cat? Romantic?" he scoffed. The host looked unconvinced

The unexpected twist came when Director Park revealed the film's true theme - a critique of a major corporation. Jafar's eyes widened in shock, and he leaned over to whisper something to the director. "Are you sure this is a good idea?" he asked, clearly concerned. "What about your endorsements?" the host interjected. The air in the room grew tense.

As Jafar left the studio, he pulled Vincent aside and confronted him. "Why didn't you tell me about the film's true agenda?" he demanded. Vincent's eyes darted around, as if looking for an escape. "I - I didn't want to get you involved," he stammered. Jafar's face grew cold. "It's too late for that," he said. "My name is already attached to this film."

In Jimi's apartment, another saga unfolds as we are sitting on the dining table and discussing.

"Why aren't you asking me? Why did I ask you to bring Mila and end up scolding her?" I asked Jimi.

"Don't you know? When you do something,no one can interfere. That was Jimi's reply. I have to read the situation too . "Can I ask? Why did he say no? Did he beg you, saying it's a life contract? Did it make your heart ache?"

Jimi asked with all eagerness.

Surprisingly,I revealed, "He initiated it. The divorce." Jimi's eyes widened with shock. "Seriously?" he exclaimed, contemplating the implications. "You can go to Canada then; this is great. But did you refund him? You always refund your clients if they have a change of heart.

With a contemplative hum, i said, "Hmm, I see what you mean."

A brief flashback unfolded, portraying a solemn conversation between Mr. Charles and me "Let's get a divorce. Let's end this marriage, Mr. Charles," came the unexpected declaration. "Okay, I understand," i responded, the weight of the decision sinking in.

Breaking the awkward silence that followed, I addressed the unforeseen turn of events. "No! I'm speechless. It's not been just one or two years. How can you cancel the contract on your own like this?" I questioned, my voice rising in frustration. "You read the terms and conditions, right? There will be no refund if the client simply has a change of heart. And about the handling fees you paid four days ago, I will carry out my duties for the remaining 27 days because I value courtesy.

Mr. Charles attempted to decline the offer, but I insisted, emphasizing it as a matter of business policy. "Well, I'll clear up since you cooked," he said, indicating that the conversation was over. As he left the room, the atmosphere suggested anger, though it wasn't entirely the case. Perhaps it was simply the tension of the moment, or perhaps it was something else entirely.

Returning to the present moment in Jimi's apartment, I took a deep breath. "It must have looked like I left because I was angry," I said. Jimi, still processing the unfolding drama, questioned my decision to leave again. "What, so you have to go again?" Jimi asked in bewilderment. "Why is that man so uncool?"

Maintaining a composed demeanor, I explained, "Well, he wants me to complete the remaining duration of our contract," subtly implying a continuation of their professional engagement. I could tell that Jimi was still confused, but I didn't want to divulge any more information than was necessary.
