Chapter 2 - Chapter 2 He Crossed the Line_1

There had been an earthquake there half a month ago, and he had no idea how he survived it. Until he counted the names of the deceased, and hers was not among them...

Xia Yunsheng remained silent, until Cheng Yanzhi roughly pushed her onto the bed. She was moved, but still lucid. She knew that she was not allowed to be like this with this man, "Let go of me Cheng Yanzhi!"

Cheng Yanzhi's body quickly pressed onto hers. He skillfully controlled her. Despite her physical fitness, she still had no resistance to this man.

Their first time happened when she was drunk and unware.

That was a mistake and she didn't want to repeat it!

Unfortunately, her words were useless to Cheng Yanzhi.

What she didn't know was that in the few months she was absent, missing her had almost driven this man insane.

His eyes were cold, but the panic hidden inside was something she could not understand.

Yes, she would never understand how important she was to him!

To make him stop, Xia Yunsheng warned: "Let go, if you dare to force me I will go to Grandfather tomorrow to ask for a divorce!"

"Divorce?" This sentence did not stop Cheng Yanzhi; instead it made him more impulsive.

He felt that after marriage he had let her get her way too much. Now, he needed to show her who exactly was Mrs. Xia!

Back when they were in school, Cheng Yanzhi was her instructor. Xia Yunsheng thought that his harshest punishment was making her run fifty laps around the training field. Now, she realised what real punishment felt like.

Compared to that, this was the worst.

After an unknown period, when she gave up hope that he would stop, he finally did.

The world became quiet.

Xia Yunsheng remembered that she was going to take a bath. She sat up, grabbed a shirt and slipped it on, and said to him: "You broke your promise, let's divorce!"

When they got married, they agreed that he would never touch her!

But now, he had crossed that line.

Cheng Yanzhi sat on the bed, watching her coldly as she entered the bathroom.

She was always different from others, even at this moment. She didn't cry or make a scene, but remembered the agreement they had made.

But, how could Xia Yunsheng possibly understand?

From the day they got married, she ceased to be Xia Yunsheng and became Cheng Yanzhi's wife. This meant he could not possibly let her go in this lifetime.

Xia Yunsheng cleaned herself in the bathroom, but she could not wash off what he had done to her.

A thud echoed from outside, reminding her of Cheng Yanzhi's departure.

He must be going to meet his beloved one again.

She had long gotten used to this.

Xia Yunsheng looked at herself in the mirror, remembered that over the past months the person she missed most was not Ling Xiche, whom she can't forget, but Cheng Yanzhi.

She wondered if she was going mad!

Hadn't she always known, that despite their marriage, this man never belonged to her?

The next morning, Xia Yunsheng got up early to have breakfast with Sir Cheng.

There was no sign of Cheng Yanzhi in the house and Secretary Song was also not around.

As she sat at her spot, she heard Sir Cheng ask, "Did Yanzhi not come down with you?"

Xia Yunsheng felt a little embarrassed. Cheng Yanzhi had not returned since he left last night.
