The man lying on the bed stared at Mother Liu who was prattling on, "My head hurts so much."
Mother Liu glanced at him and started to explain, "You bumped into a rock. You're pretty lucky, the weather was good that day and the miss was out when she found you. Otherwise, you would've been lost at sea."
Even though Mother Liu was a woman and was easy to soften, this sudden appearance of a strange man was unsettling. Who knew what kind of person he was, so ever since he woke up, she hadn't let him meet the miss, and vice versa.
"My head hurts so much." The man wanted to clutch his head, but his hands had been bandaged up like buns.
"You will be fine in a few days' rest. Do you still remember your name?" His attire gave no telltale signs as to where he was from, but his physical features confirmed that they were from the same country.
The man's head ached so much, thinking made it worse.
