"You're looking for me?"
Meng Zichen awkwardly walked over and glanced at her.
Lu Wenyu bowed her head and said softly, "I'm sorry."
Meng Zichen was startled. He didn't expect her to say that to him.
Lu Wenyu lifted her head and said earnestly, "I shouldn't have said those words. Knowing that you were so upset, I shouldn't have spoken like that."
Meng Zichen was surprised and stared at Lu Wenyu.
"I'm not good at speaking," Lu Wenyu said with a hint of embarrassment, "At that time, I just wanted you to be happy and that's why I said those words. I didn't realize it would make you so upset. I'm truly sorry."
Now, it was Meng Zichen's turn to feel embarrassed.
He blinked and lowered his own head in embarrassment.
"I need to apologize to you as well." His voice was soft, almost a whisper, "I shouldn't have gotten angry and pushed you. Because of me, you had to struggle in the water."
Lu Wenyu laughed, "That's not your fault. I fell because I lost my balance."
