When Lu Yebai woke up, he saw Lun You standing next to him. His temples throbbed, and the pain he felt before he lost consciousness still lingered on his body.
He propped himself up from the bed, touching his forehead, asking, "What happened to me?"
"You fainted," Lun You replied with a somewhat gloomy expression, "how do you feel now?"
"My head hurts." He made an effort to sit up in bed, rubbing his temples, feeling totally drained.
"Did you see anything before you fainted?"
Lun You asked.
Lu Yebai was taken aback and looked at him, "Was I supposed to see something?"
"No... nothing. I just said it casually."
Lun You looked a little flustered as he turned away. He poured a cup of water for him, explaining awkwardly, "When I came back, I found you lying on the floor. I was so scared. I almost called the police!"
Lu Yebai remained silent, his eyes just focused on Lun You's back.
He was sure that Lun You was hiding something, but he refused to tell him.
