Lu Yebai watched as passengers in the cabin methodically put on their life jackets. After hearing Lun You's words, he raised his head to glance at him, lightly smiling, "It's just my bad luck, it has nothing to do with you."
Lun You sighed and shook his head, "Let's go find my master after this is over."
Lu Yebai nodded, "You should also put on a life jacket."
The airplane's engine had been blown up by the terrorists. The entire cabin was filled with pungent smoke that was nearly suffocating.
Looking out the window, Lu Yebai noted that they were descending rapidly. Not far off, the sea shimmered with waves. Farther off, countless life rafts were approaching. A sense of relief ghosted through him as he glanced at Meng Xi'er sitting beside him.
Meng Xi'er was searching for her life jacket, but it was nowhere to be found. Whether it hadn't been put in or someone had taken it, she didn't know.
"What's wrong?"
Lu Yebai's voice sounded in her ear.
