"Go find Bai Xue!" Su Dongkun couldn't help but strike him with his walking stick.
"Fine, I'll go!" Su Yan sighed helplessly.

At this moment, Su Yan received a video call from Jones Ellie.
He picked it up.
"Yan, have you been well recently?" Jones Ellie was still bewitchingly beautiful.
"Release Mrs. Su, and I'll spare your life!" Su Yan was very arrogant.
Jones Ellie laughed until she shook, "Su Yan, are you treating me like a child? Do you think I'm an idiot?"

She pointed her phone's camera at Bai Xue.
Bai Xue was tied up and sitting in a corner, her mouth sealed with tape. She was somewhat disheveled, her face pale, but her eyes were still sparkling. It was clear that her spirit was still relatively intact.
"When have I ever cared about her?" Su Yan laughed as though he'd heard something funny.
"Then why do you want me to release her!" Saying those words must mean he was worried about her, right?
"I told you to release her because she is Mrs. Su, my wife! You can't touch her whenever you want!"
His words clearly told Jones Ellie that he was rescuing Bai Xue only for his own reputation.
If she thought she could use Bai Xue as a valuable bargaining chip against him, she was wrong!
Jones Ellie didn't seem disappointed. She looked at Bai Xue with pity, "Mrs. Su, aren't you heartbroken to hear these words?"
With her mouth sealed, Bai Xue couldn't reply, but her eyes remained calm. She wasn't surprised by Su Yan's words.
If he was desperately trying to save her, that would be surprising.

Like Bai Xue, Bai Wanrou was tied up. She was huddled in a corner and looked ragged and haggard. Her wide eyes, filled with fear and urgent pleas for help, widened when Jones Ellie pointed the camera at her.

Su Yan did not expect to see her, and was visibly taken aback.
Jones Ellie smirked triumphantly. She knew that he cared about at least one of them!
She moved forward and ripped the tape off Bai Wanrou's mouth.
"Yan, save me! Please, save me!" Bai Wanrou immediately pleaded, her tears falling like rain, her fearful appearance stirred up the protective instinct in Su Yan.
"Ellie, you're really asking for death!" His tone was so icy that it made one shudder.
"Indeed, I'm tired of living!" Having become the criminal of her entire clan, Jones Ellie truly had had enough!
Bai Xue couldn't see Su Yan's expression, but from his voice, she could hear the change in his emotions.
