In the end, Bai Xue gave in and stopped trying to close the door.

"Are you referring to the nuclear material?"
Su Yan revealed an appreciative smile, his wife was smart! She could grasp the crux without any further explanations!
"Are you getting close to her to acquire more nuclear materials?" Bai Xue frowned.
She hoped that wasn't the case, she didn't like weapons of mass destruction.
Even less so, when Su Yan was involved in it.

Bai Xue raised her brows, waiting for his alternative explanation.
"Jones Finno used our team to traffic nuclear materials, making the FBI put us under high scrutiny." Hence, they needed to find concrete evidence against Jones Finno. If anyone thought that Su Yan could be used as a scapegoat, he would send them directly to meet the Almighty.
"Our team?"

Su Yan's evasiveness meant he did not trust her, which saddened Bai Xue to some extent.
