The yellow paper and Joss Paper in front of the tomb had finally turned completely to ash within the flames, marking the end of Qin Sisi's Qingming tomb-sweeping ceremony.
She slowly stood up, looked at the radiant setting sun in the sky, and sighed. Her hoarse voice turning towards Ye You, she said, "Let's leave."
Ye You looked up at Qin Sisi but didn't budge.
Despite the melancholy mood Qin Sisi was in, she could sense something was off with Ye You.
"What's wrong?" She asked, somewhat puzzled.
Ye You paused before replying: "Sisi, you go ahead. I'll come find you tomorrow."
Qin Sisi looked at Ye You in disbelief, and slowly squatted down again. She asked Ye You as she stared into his purple eyes, "Where are you going?"
Ye You remained silent.
Qin Sisi looked at him for a while, then defiantly sat down next to him on the ground. "If you're not going, neither am I," she stated.
