Qin Sisi had been reading the magic notebook for a while, only to feel bouts of drowsiness come and go, blurring the world in front of her.
Unable to help herself, Qin Sisi put down the magic notebook, rubbed her eyes, and brightly asked: "Why hasn't the old man come back yet? Did he go to give his son and daughter-in-law a dream again?"
Ye You looked at Qin Sisi with tender concern and softly said: "Go to sleep. There's no point in waiting."
"But..." Qin Sisi hesitated, feeling uneasy, as though something was about to happen.
Ye You's claw rested on Qin Sisi's back of the hand and he gently said: "Don't think too much. Just remember my words – let it be."
Gazing into Ye You's deep sea-like eyes, Qin Sisi finally nodded her head gently in agreement.
The quilts were a bit cold, but Ye You's body was as warm as a furnace. Snuggling up to him, Qin Sisi fell asleep gradually in the darkness.
After what felt like forever, Qin Sisi was awoken by a strange noise.
