Isabelle drove home with a mix of emotions.
Observing Victor's noticeable weight loss, she couldn't help but wonder if managing his father's company had taken a toll on him.
For the past decade, she had tracked and monitored his progress.
At thirty-two, remaining unmarried due to her intense involvement in overnight investigations wasn't her usual style.
She wasn't naturally a workaholic, but her love for the immature and spoiled Victor had transformed her into one.
Not content with her current information about Jackson Nat, she parked at the roadside and dialed his number.
He answered promptly.
"Hello, this is detective Isabella. I will like to see you in person because a person's life is on the line if you don't mind".
"A person's life? Why? And how does that got to do with me?".
"I need even the slightest information about Jackson Nat to help the person ".
"Meet me at Top coffee shop".
At 6PM, with time to spare, she quickly drove to the designated place.
The source, Tom Bliss, appeared different from her imagination.
She had pictured a struggling, chubby, short man with a rough face based on the neighbor's description.
In reality, Tom Bliss was tall, handsome, and surprisingly youthful, making it hard to believe he was a married man.
A soft smile adorned his face as she approached the table, and they exchanged a handshake.
"Jackson was my church member. He attended church once in a month. Thanksgiving Sundays. We became friends because the few times he was in church, he was handy around the engineering department. We were both sound engineers and we clicked because he taught me a lot of things. After a while, we were not seeing him anymore. I went to his house and saw that he had packed some of his things. He asked if I was interested in renting the house since it was closer to the church and I did" .
"Did he state any specific reason for leaving?".
"He said his best friend just died in that same compound and he couldn't take it anymore ".
"Do you have any idea of where he had packed to?".
"He refused to disclose".
"You didn't try to call him?".
"Phones were not really rampant then. Most of us didn't have one except the landline that was a general phone".
She nodded thoughtfully. "Did you know that mama B was his biological mother?".
"She had Jackson when she was only fifteen. She never married his father. They both had their different partners".
"Is there any way we can find her? She currently disappeared".
"Anytime I asked her about him, she told me that she had no idea".
"Do you have any idea of their hometown?".
"Rejuvile village. Jackson was born there ".
She stood up. "Thank you so much for the information ".

Rosa's day was bustling as she integrated her organization with her husband's various groups.
Juggling the management of everything proved to be demanding.
In addition to her professional responsibilities, she took the time to cook and deliver a meal to her in-laws.
Upon arrival, she found Mr. Smith tending to his garden, mirroring his son's love for family time.
Sophia eagerly embraced her, while Mr. Smith, with a perpetual smile, maintained an easygoing demeanor that concealed his underlying control.
They moved to the sitting room, where Sylvia was dozing on the couch.
Sylvia, upon waking, expressed, "I heard that Raymond's group of companies has seen significant progress since it joined with Rosa Designs. You are indeed an asset to my son."
"Thank you, mother. It hasn't been easy, but God has been helping," Rosa replied.
She joyfully observed everyone savoring the delicious meal on the couch.
Sophia exclaimed, "Must you be perfect in everything? This tastes so good."
Rosa chuckled. "Thank God you like it ".
"Your dad had maids growing up. How come you learned how to cook so well?". Mr Smith observed.
"I cooked for my family myself since I was ten. I updated my cooking skills as I grew up, watching cooking programs". Rosa said with a wild smile.
"Thank you so much for coming into Raymond's life. I have never seen him so happy". Mr Smith expressed.
"I want Sophia to work under your management so that she will gain enough experience and experience to manage my organization". Sylvia pleaded.
Rosa smiled. "I would love Sophia to be my partner. We are both annoying, so we will manage each other".
Laughter erupted among them.
