To her surprise and horror, Eli didn't pull away. Instead, a devilish chuckle brushed across her inner ear, making the tingles flare up again way too easily.
"Scared?" he whispered. "Say the chicken word and I'll stop."
"…"
This shameless man! Did he really have no modesty himself to feel frightened by getting caught?
"I'm not a chi—" Harper hissed, though she quickly caught herself before the chicken word slipped from her tongue. Would that count as saying a safeword? Would that count as giving up on the game and admitting that she had no guts to live up to the dare?
Her heart rate kicked up a whole other level. Scared as she was of being discovered in such a state, she couldn't simply let him think of her as a coward either. No way she'd hand him the perfect opportunity on a silver platter to call her chicken for the rest of her life!
