Chapter 162 - Chapter 162: Greetings, Hank Pym!

"Clark's Anti-Armor, Ultimate Evolution!..."

Within the rhythmically charged atmosphere, gigantic mecha components fused with Tony's Anti-Clark Armor, transforming it into a steel giant taller than the Abomination and Crossbones.

This scene was shockingly familiar, mirroring the entrance of the Hulkbuster Armor!

But, it wasn't the Hulkbuster Armor.

This armor was vastly superior to the original timeline's Hulkbuster, especially its power core, which was no longer the arc reactor in Tony's chest but a square blue crystal.

Though this cubic crystal resembled the arc reactor, the energy it contained was infinitely more powerful, as if it were limitless. "This is... the Tesseract!"

As Clark recognized the power core of the giant armor, Tony completed the second transformation of the Anti-Clark Armor.

The deep tones in the background music announced the armor's new name.

"Infinite Armor!"

Indeed, using one of the six Infinity Stones, the Space Stone, as its power core, this armor lived up to its name.

Upon seeing the Tesseract, Clark, with his super intellect, understood the key to all problems.

Hank Pym was indeed willing to invest heavily, even using the Tesseract to eliminate him through Tony's hands.

And Tony, impressive as ever, had managed to complete the Anti-Clark Armor and its evolution in just about three months since their fallout.

In just three short months, Tony not only completed the Anti-Clark Armor but also upgraded it with the Tesseract.

Indeed, ten times more formidable, the ancients did not deceive me!

What? You say Tony was just avenging his father and not truly turning dark?

No! No! No! For Clark, Tony turning from a friend to an enemy, regardless of the reason, constituted a turn to darkness.

Clark smirked, then with a divine move, repelled Crossbones who had returned, and immediately charged towards Tony's Infinite Armor: "Let's see if this Infinite Armor you've tailored for me can truly hold me back."

"Shockwave!"

The same shockwave force was perfectly blocked by a protective energy barrier that emerged from Tony's armor.

Clark's shockwave attack was rendered ineffective.

Clark could clearly feel that to achieve such a defense, Tony's Infinite Armor consumed a massive amount of energy at that moment, far more than any previous protective measures!

Had his power source still been the arc reactor, such a defense would have been impossible to replicate.

However, Tony's new power core, the Tesseract, could theoretically draw infinite energy from the universe.

Thus, Tony's current power source was limitless! Tony was like a super-tycoon, likely never considering energy consumption when designing this armor.

Because no matter how much he used, he could never deplete the Tesseract's energy.

Faced with such a Tony, Clark felt unprecedented pressure.

Casually snapping his fingers, Clark activated his BGM, using "Calorie," a song he hadn't used in a long time and the first BGM he obtained after his transmigration.

Now, Clark, whether in combat awareness or other aspects, had reached a very high level, and the difference with or without BGM was negligible.

But "Calorie," which reduced consumption, was most useful in the current situation.

After such a long time of enhancement, the effect of this BGM was...

"Calorie"

Level: 9 (0/10 billion) Effect: Can increase the effectiveness of exercise by 90% and reduce the consumption and injury from exercise by 90%.

Activating a BGM that starkly contrasted with the intense battle, Clark dodged Tony's attacks multiple times before seizing the opportunity to unleash rapid punches enveloped in transparent light.

Shockwave!

Shockwave!

Still, shockwave!

...

"Calorie" reduced the consumption of battle and significantly shortened the recovery time between attacks. A punch was thrown, and the energy was immediately replenished.

With this nearly miraculous effect, Clark launched 128 punches at Tony's Infinite Armor in just one second, each with full-force shockwave!

His plan was simple: to outlast Tony, who had an infinite energy source. The Tesseract was indeed powerful, offering limitless energy, but even infinite energy must have limitations in its transmission process, right?

It's like having an unlimited credit card; you can't withdraw a billion in cash from the bank in one minute.

Because no matter how much money you have, the bank has to count it out bill by bill.

Clark's strategy was to challenge the energy transmission limits of the Infinite Armor with high-frequency attacks!

If he won, he could deplete the armor's energy in another way, breaking through its defenses to dismantle this upgraded version of the Anti-Clark Armor.

Clark's idea was feasible, but it seemed Tony had already anticipated this approach.

After 128 shockwave punches, the area around Tony's armor was blasted into a crater, rivaling the impact of Thor's hammer, yet the Infinite Armor's energy shield remained as solid as ever, without a hint of weakening.

Tony had already solved the problem of energy transmission speed! Truly a genius in weapon manufacturing!

"Aow!" Just as Clark was at a loss against Tony's impenetrable Infinite Armor, Crossbones, previously incapacitated by him, regained mobility and leaped towards Captain America, as if determined to tear him apart.

This seemed even more personal than Clark's vendetta.

But regardless of personal grievances, Clark couldn't let him attack Captain America and his team, as they were no match for Crossbones in their current state.

"Universal Attraction!"

Crossbones, leaping into the air without leverage, was pulled back by Clark's powerful move.

But as he did this, Tony's attack finally landed—a punch more formidable than from Abomination or Crossbones, hitting Clark who couldn't dodge in time!

The immense force sent Clark flying, coughing up blood, and crashing through a warehouse, burying him in the mud behind it.

"Boom!"

Upon landing, Clark immediately activated "Blood Sky" to clear the mud and return to the scene, only to find Crossbones attacking again. Luckily, a master in a Black Panther suit, with 24K indestructible vibranium armor, intercepted Crossbones.

It was T'Challa!

Despite the timely assistance, Clark's expression bore no excitement.

T'Challa's arrival changed nothing. Even if he could ensure his own safety, he couldn't stop Crossbones.

And Clark, the main force, was already struggling against Tony, let alone managing Crossbones' aggression.

With a pale look, Clark glanced at Crossbones, now grappling with T'Challa, then at Abomination, who had been repeatedly repelled and returned, and finally fixed his gaze on Tony.

It was time for a real performance. "Tony, stop!" With those words, Clark's entire demeanor deflated, like a deflated balloon: "Let's negotiate."

"Oh?"

Tony's voice carried a hint of smugness: "You're finally willing to hand over the murderer?"

Clark shook his head gently: "Tony, believe me, if I chose to ignore everyone's lives and just walk away, no one could stop me, including you. And if I decided to seek revenge after losing everything, the consequences could redefine your understanding of extremity."

Tony's tone turned cold: "Are you threatening me?"

"No!" Clark firmly shook his head: "My condition is simple. Let the innocent go, and I'll stay to settle our feud. And I swear, if you let the captain and the others go, even if I die here today, blown to bits by your energy cannon, I won't flee."

"Tony," Clark's expression carried a heroic yet distant quality: "The choice is yours. Permanently eliminate me as a future threat, or face my potentially relentless revenge. The decision is yours."

"Tony, you can't agree to this!"

As Tony hesitated, suddenly, a steel suit far more advanced than any other present shot out from the shadows, hovering a hundred meters from Clark, its visor opening to reveal Hank Pym, the long-absent Hydra operative within S.H.I.E.L.D.

Upon Hank Pym's arrival, he immediately advised Tony: "Everyone here is a shield for Bucky Barnes. This is a rare chance to cut down all of Bucky's protectors. You can't show mercy now!"

Meanwhile, Crossbones, who had been grinding the indestructible Black Panther into the ground, suddenly turned on two military steel suits,

"Boom!"

"Boom!"

Caught off guard, both suits, along with their pilots, were instantly crushed into bloody metal pancakes.

Only War Machine, Rhodey, managed a narrow escape.

Seeing Hank Pym emerge like a deus ex machina and Crossbones betraying their side, Clark, weakened, revealed a cunning smile and whispered so softly that no one else could hear: "Greetings, Hank Pym."
