"My lord, I sense the presence of the villagers gathering in multitude around the tree house". Anna called to his attention.
"Uhuh". Mikeal muttered, dumbfoundedly.
"You can sense them from way up here". He asked.
Even he, his way of sensing them requires connecting to the surrounding trees to feel the presence of anyone coming closer. He cannot directly feel them from this far a distance, unlike Anna.
If they were in closer proximity, Mikeal would have no problem telling who was coming closer, he just wouldn't be able to figure out how many were coming closer.
But as they are high up from the ground and neither of the villagers were harbouring ill intents, it makes it difficult to tell where they are without him connecting to the tree house's roots.
