It took a while. And by a while, he meant hours before he could get the villagers off of Siveth's back. They were so infatuated with her cuteness, how adorable and dashing she looked.
That part kind of makes Mikeal question what was cute about Siveth. He never looked at her in that manner, at the time he was just grateful that he had someone beside him as a companion.
It is not that way for the villagers. They were attracted to Siveth because they thought of her as gorgeous, her dazzling and long straight whiskers drew them in.
They wouldn't let go for hours, and Mikeal had to send them off with claims of having work to attend to.
He was also disappointed that the first thought they had when they just woke up this early morning was to come into the forest to feed.
Yeah, he was real disappointed about that.
