"Whatever questions or misgivings you might have, my answer remains the same. What I responded to the elders with when they confronted me is the same response I am going to be giving you all". He says, marking his opinion before Ricus and the other villagers, including the youths he had saved.
"We have been informed of that as well". Ricus answered on behalf of the youths.
"If you have been informed, what then is the problem".
That they chose to confront him even after they had been briefed on the proceedings meant there is something they are not satisfied with and probably want to confirm directly from Mikeal.
"There is nothing to fret about my lord. The youths merely wished to express their gratitude as well as display their determination to ensure that the village never has to go through such perilous moments ever again".
Elder Burke explained on their behalf, sighting Mikeal's reaction to the youths confrontation.
