Toban and Tayla did not know. They did not understand what Wyatt was going on about, talking in confusing terms. But for him who did, he understood the severity of the reality his eyes had been opened to.

"He killed Marcus! No kidding about that". Says Toban.
Toban has a bone to pick with Mikeal for killing Marcus. He was earlier disappointed that he couldn't take out his grievances on him after he was trapped in Tayla's magic.
As shown in the records Tayla's magic has accumulated, Toban expected Mikeal to meet his demise and was disappointed he wouldn't be the one exerting vengeance.
