Chapter 99: One More Revenge
As Bozo finished storing the body, he found the shadow ogre returning. He glared at the ogre, noting his empty hands, and demanded, "Where is that bastard?"
"Forgive me, master. I failed to capture Shadow," came the deep, cold voice resonating in the area. Bozo would have been surprised under different circumstances; this was the first time Chilly had spoken at all.
"You couldn't chase down one target?" Bozo's fury was evident as he wiped away the tears glistening on his skin.
Chilly remained silent, simply lowering his head and clenching his fist. Though faster than Shadow, the terrain had favored the escape, or rather, the camouflage, making it difficult for Chilly to track.
Bozo's words trailed off. There was little point. Shadow had already slipped away. Other than venting his frustration, what else could he do?
