Chapter 49: Brother Grub
"Huff Huff!" Grub panted heavily as he ran with his fellow inmates, helping them a little while trying to run as far as possible.
He followed Bozo's words exactly. With Whork's Blank skill, they got out of the prison and then made a run. As they were directly outside after the use of Blank, they had no need to worry about the guards.
Rumble, with his large belly, somehow kept up with the run. However, his heavy breathing and the sound that he made were more than enough to tell that he had almost reached his limit.
Grub remained alert. Having assumed the leader position for a while, he was ready to work hard and protect everyone. He wanted that little appreciation from Bozo.
Well, he was surely working hard for that. While Raant and Drex didn't need any assistance in running, the same couldn't be said about Naya and Kaya. The twins had their spines broken, so it was very difficult to move at all on their own.
