Chapter 11: Just one word is enough to send chills… ARISE!
[Everyone's eyes opened wide as this happened. Their jaws dropped and their voice was stuck in their mouths.]
["Gracia!", the chieftain raised his voice in anger. His voice was so loud that you felt pain in your ears. But more than that, his killing intent carried such pressure, that you almost knelt on the ground. When you looked to your sides, you noticed many kneeling on the ground due to the killing intent. Only you weren't. You realized you were a little stronger than the rest.]
[Gracia, the General, left the chieftain and jumped towards the ogre. He had a gigantic club which was modified by adding thorns. He waited no time in swinging the club. The undead ogre, however, was fast and dodged the attack with ease.]
[You noticed the general staring at the undead ogre. He could follow his movements.]
[The undead ogre ran towards the crowd. Its mouth was wide open. Gracia shouted, "Everyone, move aside! Don't let yourself get beaten by that thing!"]
[Heeding his command, everyone moved out of the way and dodged every attack that the ogre made. You were no different. you wanted to leave the matter to Gracia, who seemed more professional than you.]
[But at the same time, you couldn't ignore one of the Healer ogres who was now being chased by the undead.]
[The healers didn't have a heavy build like the warriors. When even the warriors couldn't outrun the undead, how could you expect a Healer to do so?]
[The undead caught up to a scrawny female Healer. He pushed her down to the ground and fixed both her arms.]
["N-Nooo!", you heard the healer's loud cry. She wasn't bitten yet, but fear had engulfed her.]
[As if mocking Gracia's speed, the undead turned back and smirked just once, before opening its mouth wide and then facing the Healer.]
[Gracia, with his eyes widened and blood vessels visible, ran as fast as he could, but he was just too far.]
[The undead opened its gigantic mouth and closed it brutally with all of its force.]
[Crunch!]
[Everyone heard the sound of the undead chewing on something. Few covered their ears while many directed their gazes towards the scene. What everyone found was totally unbelievable.]
[Everyone was looking at you. You could feel their gaze. But you didn't mind them. Your focus was on the undead who was crunching on your right arm.]
[Laiya found herself alone. She turned here and there and noticed that you were vanished. Just like in the battle, you had used Giant's Stride and Rage of Beserker skills at the same time to increase your agility. You had no choice but to do this in order to save the healer from the undead.]
[But now, you questioned this decision of yours as the undead's teeth had pierced deep into your flesh. You were surprised because even after strengthening yourself, the undead was able to pierce that deep! If you hadn't used the skill, then your arm would have been bitten away!]
[Steam generated from your body as you started grunting in rage. You barely felt any pain. Your anger was directed at the undead. You moved your left hand and grabbed hold of the undead's neck. You stared directly at its eyes. You conjured a lot of strength in your left hand and increased your grip around its neck, strangling it. This caused the undead to flinch and let go of your right arm.]
[You didn't hesitate and moved your right arm over the undead's head, covering it's face entirely. Wasting no time, you gripped it hard. You increased the force over it's head. Each second, the force kept increasing. The undead kept making this screeching sound as it felt immense pain. But you didn't stop. You showed no mercy and applied even more force, ultimately, bursting it's head open! Squachk!]
[Blood splattered everywhere, especially on your skin that had turned red from the skill. Your eyes glowed redder, and you looked like a wild beast. Your thirst for battle wasn't satisfied yet, and you pounded the undead's body into the ground. You leaped around, unleashing your frenzy on it. You were just like a crazy animal.]
[The nearby ogres fled in fear. You caught a whiff of something unpleasant and turned to see two ogres who had wet themselves. You wrinkled your nose at the stench. But what you found even more unpleasant was the odor of the approaching undeads, heading for the camp. Not one, not two… they numbered hundred! Or even over a hundred.]
[Taking advantage of the berserker skill's effects, you charged through the battlefield, ripping apart every undead in your path. Laughter erupted from you, a mix of craziness and triumph. "Hahahaha. Kuark! Kahaha." - your maniacal laughter echoed as blood sprayed in all directions, creating a gruesome spectacle. Blood fountains were established at this night. It was as if you were conducting a ritual.]
[Back at the camp, ogres stared in disbelief at your astonishing display of strength and speed. Gracia and even the chieftain acknowledged your might. However, one thing remained unbelievable—the undead that had killed Elder Jir was regenerating. Bubbles appeared as it quickly restored its form, regrowing its hand and legs. It's body had also started to regrow. Only it's flesh and bones appeared first, the skin being the last part. This couldn't continue!]
[Laiya alerted everyone. The chieftain stood up from his seat and then stared down at the undead. He then momentarily raised his left hand and poised it towards it. With palm facing upwards, he raised his hand as he said, "Arise."]
[ZZZZD - a cage of black bones emerged, followed by dark shadows. These shadows wielded weapons made from the fangs of various beasts. Some of these shadows resembled fellow ogres, while others had the form of goblins. There were even some wolves and various other beasts - all those that had been slain or killed by the chieftain.]
[They too… were undead.]
[The chieftain had finally revealed his power of undead: Shadow Necromancy. With a smirk, he looked at the undead and then stared at his eyes. "Having fun causing trouble for us? Enjoying watching my warrior dance in your palm? Bring it on. Let's see who's stronger—your zombification or my shadow necromancy."]
[Then, with a distant yet deep voice that was a mixture of many, a reply came from the body - "I accept your challenge." - Trick… Trick… BOOM!]
[And with that, the body bulged up, ultimately turning into bubbles before blowing up.]
Ding!
[Plot has been progressed. It has reached the climax: The Goblin King has accepted the Ogre King's challenge.]
