Chapter 291 - Lithira's Past: Human Race

Each day, after tending to the Inferno Dragon's needs, Lithira would retreat to the library.

The room was bathed in an ivory glow, from the floors to the walls and towering bookshelves. 

Above her, the ceiling mimicked the sky outside, shifting its colors and weather patterns in sync with the world beyond the dungeon.

Today, the sky was clear. Lithira sat at a desk in the center of the library, absorbed in her reading. 

Her eyes scanned the text before her, her focus only breaking when a branch gently placed another book on the table beside her.

"Ah... thank you," she said, offering a soft smile.

The branch retracted, returning to its source: Liber, the enormous silver tree that stretched its limbs across the library. 

Its branches moved with purpose, organizing books, dusting shelves, and tending to the vast collection.
