After a productive meeting with Gibson and some of the village officials regarding the rebuilding of Euclair Village, Lucien felt a sense of satisfaction.

The progress was smooth, thanks to the combined efforts of Rosetta's people and the slaves he had purchased. Nearly a quarter of the village had been rebuilt.

Initially, the reconstruction should have been straightforward, as only a small number of houses had been burned. However, Lucien had a grander vision in mind.

He wanted to build the houses using a combination of concrete and quality wood, inspired by the picturesque villages of Italy he had once seen.

This wasn't just about aesthetics; he also reimagined the village's urban planning, aiming for a more organized layout that would facilitate easier transport and daily activities.

He didn't stop there. Lucien added essential facilities, including public toilets, baths, parks, playgrounds, and even a library for the villagers.
