Lucien didn't know why, but his mind was in a chaotic state. The pain was so intense he wanted to disappear. It felt so real that he couldn't think straight.

'What's happening to me? Why am I like this?'

'Just... stop it,' he clutched his chest, desperate.

Lucien found it strange that Tritons could protect him with a shield but couldn't dispel this negative feeling.

His eyes widened as the image of his mother on the bed, thin and frail, flashed in his mind. It struck him like a train, shattering him into pieces.

He looked down at Lithira's upper body. Blood poured from her stomach, and her innards scattered on the ground.
